Chapter 15
Boy Drama
Year III
January soon turned intro February, and Bailey still had no luck with her special powers. She could only make water flow from the inside of her palms and can rarely form crystals. It was frustrating, she expected more than that. Even after Nikki's attempts in trying to persuade Bailey to ask for help from Professor Lupin, Bailey declined claiming that it would make her look week.
It was officially the day for the Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw match. "Wake up Bailey, we're going to miss Breakfast." Nikki said, shaking Bailey.
"ehh..- one..more..- minute."
"Bailey McKnight, you better get up now."
Bailey yawned, "Hmph.. fine." and stretched her way out of bed and into the bathroom.
After the two girls got ready, they entered the great hall, which was exceptionally louder than any usual day, especially around the Gryffindor table where there seemed to be a large crowd.
"What's happening over there?" Asked Bailey, taking a seat beside Augustus at the Slytherin table.
"You don't know? Harry has got a firebolt!" Said Augustus, knowing exactly what was going to happen Next.
"A FIREBOLT?!" Yelled Bailey, getting a few glances from the people at the Slytherin table. She quickly strode over towards the crowd at the Gryffidor table and squeezed herself inside.
"Hey HARRY- oh sorry-"
Harry's mouth slowly turned into a smile when he saw Bailey.
"oi Bailey-" Said Ron, moving to the side making a space between him and Harry for Bailey. "The crowd isn't that nice." He said making an apologitic smile.
"It's fine," she said to Ron. "but, is that really a Firebolt, Harry?!"
A person from the crowd who was examining the Firebolt returned it to Harry, who handed it to Bailey. "It is, indeed." He said, a proud smile on his face.
Bailey handled the firebolt like it was glass and the two boys watched as her eyes grew from astonishment and her mouth hung open.
She dragged her fingers delicately on the Firebolt, completely speechless.
"It's.. AMAZING! Ravenclaw has no chance beating you with this beauty on your team." Said Bailey, handing him his Firebolt. "If I don't get a ride on this, I'm coming after you." She said, flashing him a sarcastic-devilish smile before walking away.
Gryffindor ended up winning the match against Ravenclaw. The team made its way down to the ground, Bailey and and a gaggle of Gryffindor supporters were sprinting onto the pitch towards them.
Before the team knew it, they were engulfed by the cheering crowd. "Yes!" Ron yelled, yanking Harry's arm into the air, "YES! THAT'S MY BOY!" yelled Bailey, giving Harry a big hug that almost choked the life out of him.
Mid-way while People were congratulating Harry, Bailey followed him as he was led out of the crowd by Professor Lupin until they were able to see the edge of the pitch.
"Hello Professor Lupin! What's going on?"
"Well hello to you too Bailey, as you can see, Harry gave Mr Malfoy quite a fright."
They both stared. Lying in a crumpled heap on the ground were Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Marcus Flint, the Slytherin team captain, all struggling to remove themselves from long, black, hooded robes. It looked as though Malfoy had been standing on Goyle's shoulders. Standing over them with an expression of the utmost fury on her face, was Professor McGonagal, who had started scolding them.
