Lucy's POV
I grumble as I slump on my desk. I slam my pen down onto the dark brow table. I'm about 5 months now, barely showing. Natsu, being the sweet yet inconsiderate protective idiot he is, wont let me even go outside our apartment. Such a buzzkill. Even worse, I've come upon a huge writers block. Life sucks right now. I let out and make a big sigh. I decide to make dinner. After all Natsu is going to be eating, so I might want to start preparing.

As I finish cooking, I feel two strong arms wrap around my waist. I groan. "How come you never use the door?" Natsu's infamous grin decorates his face as I look at him. " It's just not as fun that way!" I slightly blush at the statement. Jeez, so childish, I lightly tease in my head.

"So what happened today? Did you find the place the passage was talking about?" I ask as we sit to eat. Natsu sighs. "Not yet. I'm starting to think we're searching in the wrong spot." He finishes. "Natsu? Thinking? I must me dreaming." I chuckle. "Haha very funny." He says sarcastically. I pat his head. "Hey, cheer up. Your not all that bad." I smile as I get up. I kiss his cheek and walk into the bed room to get some sleep.

Natsu's POV
I watch my wife walk back to her room as I let out a small sigh. I'm really worried for once. We still haven't found the gem. And that could spell out destruction for everyone in the surrounding area. Oh crap, I should probably explain.

The gem was apart of the riddle. The gem is the Jade Crystal. It's supposed to balance everything in the kingdom of Fiore. If it's in the wrong hands, it could destroy the whole kingdom. That's why we have to find it and return it to the magic counsel.  I haven't told Lucy everything so that she wouldn't be stressed out. She loves these people so much, if she knew she would put herself in danger, our child in danger. I couldn't afford to let it happen.

(K back to story) I walk up to Lucy and brush her bangs out of her face. She's already asleep. Heh, I guess pregnancy really takes it out of her. I plant a kiss on her forehead. "Don't worry." I say. "I'll protect you and our child, I promise.

Lucy's POV
I wake up to the bright rays of the sun. I look to the side to see Natsu getting ready to leave. His hair tied back using his scarf, (beach style he usually does) white pants sagging, and his abs showing. He must be looking for his vest. "It's in the wash." I say, my eyes still groggy from waking up. "Oh." He murmurs. "I'll just go without it." He's about to walk out when I call out to him. "Hey Nastu?" He turns around. "Yea, Luce?" "Stop being such a worry wart. Everything is going to be fine." I smile. He stands there shocked for a moment before grinning while rubbing the back of his head. "Aye, I hear ya." With that he walks out. Baka, I think as I start to close my eyes to go back to sleep. Why worry about me?

Natsu's POV
Heh, she has no idea how much I worry about her. If only she'd known the problem we were in.
