Natsu's POV

"We need a game plan." Jellal exclaims. "Yeah we do, we can't be lettin' our kids and girls getting snatched up behind our watch." Gajeel crosses his arms. "But what is that plan, that's the question." Gray asks. We all look down. The group just keeps getting smaller. Now, it's just Gajeel, Gray, Jellal, Levy, Juvia, Erza, Lucy, and I. Plus the kids. And we didn't want any of them getting caught in the mix. I speak up. "How about this....."

Lucy's POV

I wake up to a hungry Nashi balling her tight little fist and punching my stomach. "Mamy, ge apppp." She yells in a babyish tone. She can understand us and say basic phrases, but of course; her being two means that her words aren't the clearest. "Yes Yes, I'm up Baby Girl.." I mumble. I scratch my head, sitting up. Natsu left already, huh. I sigh and stand up. I'm still in a little pain from the earlier events, but I can manage. I balance Nashi on my hip and head into the kitchen. 

After we eat, I spend what's left of the day working on my new novel; while Nashi plays with her dolls and toys. Then we hear the door open. A pink-haired slayer walks in. "I'm home!" He grins. Nashi gets up and runs to him. "DADEE!" the giggles. Natsu picks her up. "Did you miss me Nash?" He ruffles her hair. "Jes!" I smile at the two. Nashi truly is a Daddy's girl. 

After we put Nashi to sleep, Natsu and I hop into bed. I snuggle against his bare chest and he pulls me close. "Hey, Luce?" He asks.

 "Mhm.."

"Do you... love me?" He whispers. I move from under his grasps and lightly push his chest. "Baka! Of course I do!" I exclaim, saying the last part a little more quietly. 

"You've been so doubtful recently, is there anything I don't know?" I ask. Natsu looks down. "Hey! I'm talking to you! Why won't you-" Natsu pulls me closer. "I.. I'm scared Lucy. I don't want to have to worry about you. Please forgive me." I look at him, confused. "Forgive you? I don't understand.." Natsu chuckles softly. "It's nothing Luce. Can we just stay like this? Just for a little while.." he mumbles, stroking my hair. I sigh and give in. Sooner or later I feel his soft breath on the top of my head. I smile and lean my head up to kiss his chin. Goodnight.

I wake to a banging sound at the door. I look to my side and see Natsu still asleep. I get up slowly and tip toe to the door. When I open it I see Mrs. Saline, one of our neighbors who is apart of the townsfolk. "Mrs. Dragneel! You must come quick, there's an enemy at the town square!" Our neighbor alerts me. "Okay, thanks for notifying us. We'll take care of the rest okay? Just stay in your house and stay safe." She nods and scurries away. I run upstairs. When I get to our room, I shake Natsu awake. "Get up! The enemy is here!" I yell. "Mngh, what?" Natsu mumbles sleepily. Then he shoots up. "Oh!" I roll my eyes at his slowness. "Come on!"

Natsu heads to the Town Square while I take Nashi to Erza and Juvia. They can't fight because they're expecting. Once I arrive at the town square, I see the boys and Levy staring at these group of people. I can imagine that they're from the guild that kidnapped us. "Master said to bring our prisoners back, so that exactly what we're gonna do. The boys smirk, and Levy and I get into our stance. The battle began.

After awhile, the fighting got out of hand. They would loose a member and we would loose a member. We might be outnumbered, but we still were stronger than the group; so it was a fair fight. It wasn't looking too good though, everyone was injured. Eventually, it just became the last few people standing, the other groups leader and the four boys. I could tell they were tired, but they couldn't afford to sit. Sitting was dying in this fight, and neither side wanted to kick the barrel just yet.

After awhile of 1 v 4, the leader started getting very weary. "You all are stronger than imagined. I'll just have to do it." The leader then gets into a stance. All of a sudden, magic power starts to radiate from his body. It's everywhere. 

"Cleansing.....   Strike!" 

Then everything went white.

I got up to someone shaking me. "Lucy? Lucy?! Are you okay?" My eyes open a bit to see Levy in tears. "Levy... What happened?" I ask. She shakes her head and wipes her tears. "Go see for yourself." My mind hazy, I sit up for a little while. Then it clicks. Natsu?!  I get up and look around frantically until I see a tuff of pink hair in a corner. "Natsu!" I feel tears form at the corner of my eyes. "Baka! You said you'd stay with me! I can't believe you! Why'd you go and get yourself killed! You... really did it this time.." I say, starting to break apart once I reached the last sentence. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! All the mean remarks! I just did it cause I loved you! I still do! We have a daughter, Natsu. You can't just leave her here. We were supposed to have everything. So please... just don't leave!" I couldn't take it anymore. Soon enough I was sobbing on his still chest. 

We went to Erza's house to tell them of the bad news. Of course, they weren't happy. We went to see the bodies one last time to say our goodbyes. We even planned a funeral, but before we could bury them, their bodies were stolen. I found out that I was pregnant after that, and Levy forced me to take care of myself so that the baby wouldn't die. We ended up moving back to Magnolia, leaving the mission incomplete. The townsfolk didn't mind though, in fact they encouraged it. They didn't want to cause us any more grief, although leaving our new friends is hard enough. 

We all eventually gave birth; Erza to a girl named Rosemary , Juvia to her twins Rin and Slyvia, and me to my sweet little boy; Luke. 

And so began the next four lonely years of my life. 

BIG ooof! I feel like I'm rushing this story, but idk how else to write it. Am I doing good? Idk, I mean I don't think so but its up to the reader. Anyways, hope you enjoy, <3 baii
