"Bring it."

I get ready to charge when he beats me to it. He uses his magic to use snakes to attack me. I dodge it at the last minute. Man, not being active for about 2 years really takes it out of you. My thoughts get interrupted by another snake. I dodge it less carefully this time, my legs still sore from last night. Dammit Natsu, your really making this difficult! I whine in my head.

"Nice magic you got there, but now I think it's time I show you mine!" I smirk. In the blink of an eye, I turn into my cancer star dress and slice the man on his side. He flinches in pain. He lifts his hand to start another attack, but I grab his arm with my Taurus whip. I pull him back and he crashes into the wall. After laying there for awhile he finally gets up. "Huh? Where'd she-"  "above you." I smirk as I hit him with my Aquarius waves.

He slumps on the wall catching his breath. He has some cuts and bruises on his sides thanks to me, but he's still  able to stand up.

"Wow, I really did underestimate you. I guess I should've known." He laughs.
"What are you talking about." I growl.
"You didn't think I'd come unprepared for a fairy tail wizard, would I?" The man smirks. Suddenly, a magic circle appears around me. I feel my skin start to tingle. I then feel pain. Unimaginable pain. The type of pain that feels like 100 knives are piercing into your skin. The type of pain that makes you feel like your a bomb seconds from bursting. The type of pain that makes all your thoughts, good and bad, go away. All the pain in one attack?! How powerful could this guy be?!

I let out a scream of agony. The man laughs. "How does it feel to get every bit of your magic power drained? How does it feel that your bloody is turning into ice? Painful? I have so many more words to describe it. I glare at him and grit my teeth. "I can't use this spell a lot, but your a special exception. I like you. Your a fiesty one, that's for sure. But in the end, all that power couldn't beat the all powerful William Walker!" He laughs. "N-not quite." I look up and smirk. His cocky face freezes. "I've been through worse pain that this. My guild has, my friends have, even my dear husband....." I look down. "But that's not important. We all go through pain, but what matters the most is how you turn that pain into productiveness." I look up. "Which is why I will beat you!" I fall on my knees and slam my hands on the floor, gathering all my magic power.

"S-S-Stop! Don't you understand? That's suicide!" The man, William panics. "Hell if I care! Protecting the ones close to me is the only thing that matters!" I yell.

Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens...

I feel the magic power surging out of my body as I aim it towards my target. Just as it's about to mKe impact, everything disappears. "Your lucky I decided to come help you, or you would've been a goner." A man with darker hair walks in. "S-Sorry Brisk!" William whimpers. "As for the celestial wizard. It seems that she used all her power on that one final spell and has no more left. What a shame really. I was hoping to get a good fight with that type of power." I look at him shocked before falling down. I-I failed. I couldn't do it... I think back to my memories with the guild. I failed them all. Gray, Erza, Wendy, Mira, Carla, Happy, Natsu...

Natsu. My sweet and caring husband. He can be as dense as a rock sometimes but I still love him. We had a daughter. Our daughter, Nashi. My little girl. My sweet Nashi. I'm sorry mommy had to go. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. Just please, be a good girl.... for me?

I wrap up my thoughts as darkness takes over.
"Goodnight, my angel." Brisk cooes.

Natsu's POV
I run back home, hoping I'm not to late. Luce.... Nashi... they couldn't be hurt right? I set my thoughts aside when I arrive at the house. I don't even touch the doorknob when the door creaks open. What I see next baffles me.

Broken glass on the floor, flipped furniture, cracks in the floor and on the walls, falling paintings. The place loooked an absolute mess. So Jellal was right. They attacked.. right behind our backs too. Dammit! I curse in my head. I can't smell Luce at all. Her scent isn't here, but a familiar one is. At least they're no new scents here, but that's bad because then we can't trace them. I look on the kitchen counter and see a small slip of paper. It has small writing and a red mark smeared on it. It was blood. Not just any blood, but Lucy's. I could smell it. 'Go back to the cave and maybe we'll consider bringing them back ~PB

Those bastards! I'll make them pay for making Lucy draw blood! I think angrily. I'm about to march out when I hear a sob from upstairs. I slowly walk up. It's coming from Nashi's room. I open the door, being careful not to let it creak. When I'm able to get through, I see a blanket moving in the corner. I move the blanket and see a crying Nashi. She looks up at me in relief and hugs me tight with her small chunky arms. She nestles her head into my lower chest and begins to cry again as I pat her back.

"Daddy mummy gone! Daddy mummy gone!"
