Chapter Seven

One hour till i have to meet with the seller, i'm nervous i never fall into their traps like this, I don't like putting myself in a situation where i could be captured but i don't really have a choice.

Nathan's boss introduced himself after we went through our plan the first time, everything needs to go perfect in order for me to make it out of there.

"Are you sure you can do this? Your leg is still really bad" Chevy walks over to me glancing at my injured leg "yes i'm sure i can do this" i lie to him, truth be told don't think we can pull this off at all, we keep going through the plan to make sure we have everything planned in case of other possibilities.

"Remember you want to get them to give you the supplies, don't worry about the money i can always make more, when they give you the supplies give me a signal so i can throw the smoke bombs and cover your escape"

"Yes i know the plan, after you smoke them out i go down the alleyway behind them, make a left and go straight till i find a sewer grate, throw my smoke bomb down and climb into the sewer then we meet back at your bar".

Well it's time. I'm about to meet with the seller and my hands are shaking, I'm nervous, I'm not in the best shape my leg is still in pain but i need to pull this off, just a little while longer then when i get away with the supplies i can rest a little and think of a plan to help get Nathan out.

As i walk towards the seller i notice something off, the body figure in the shadows don't look like a male, whoever they are i know it's a female she isn't that tall and she keeps a black mask on so i can't see who she is, doesn't matter though my plan stays the same.

"So you're him?" i hear her voice from the shadows.

"Who else would i be?" she steps out of the shadows a little, just enough for me to see her eyes, i see fear in them, is she scared of me? No nonsense, why would she fear me if she knows i'm at a disadvantage

"Let me see the supplies" I try to sound intimidating but my voice is shaky

"Let me see the money first", i pull out the money Chevy gave me "it's not a lot but it's all i have, one thousands dollars" she takes the money from me, this all seems to easy? Something's not right something's wrong. "Give me the supplies", she pulls a bag out from behind her, it's a small bag i should be able to run with this on my back with ease, i reach to grab the bag from her but i hear a truck slowly pulling up behind me, she looks at me in the eyes and i see the fear in her eyes again, she's not scared of me she's scared of the government, someone is making her do this, "listen to me very carefully once I grab the bag from you take my hand and follow my lead okay?" she seems shocked but nods her head in agreement.

I grab the bag and right on cue a smoke bomb lands in between us, i take her hand and she runs with me down the alleyway behind her.

A truck pulls out blocking the exit but luckily we are not headed down that way, we make a sharp left, i hear the boots of the soldiers following us, shots are being fired at us but none of them are hitting, something seems fishy this is all going to easy, Another smoke bomb goes off behind us, i guess Chevy saw i brought her with me and wanted to cover us even more, we reached the sewer grate and i throw my smoke bomb down so we are cover by the smoke, I open the grate and help the lady down first then make my way down as well, once i'm low enough to close the sewer grate and slam it shut.

I climb down the ladder slow my leg hurts so much but I have to keep moving until I'm back at Chevy's bar, there is a silence when me and this girl first walk through the sewer but i'm the first to break the silence "you don't need to hide your face they won't come down here after us"
