Ch. 40

                                          The Authorities music hit and the McMahon couple walked out. Hunter parted the ropes to let Stephanie in, then they both stood in the center of the ring. Hunter spoke first, "Today is the day that we promised you, the WWE Universe, a new superstar. A superstar that is so skilled, so amazing, and with such in ring ability, that we have made the executive decision to bring them straight to RAW!" At this, the whole arena came alive with the shouts and cheers of the crowd. Stephanie gave it a moment to allow the crowed to settle down a bit. "This superstar has been working hard and training to make their debut, so without further adieu, play their music!" After a moment's pause, Shadow's music started and out she stepped.

Shadow stood at the top of the ramp pausing to take in the moment in and steady herself. After taking in a deep calming breath, she raised her head high and made her way down to the ring. She walked in such as way that to the crowd it appears as though she was simply gliding over the ground. She slowly made her way up the steps into the ring. As she came to a stop near the center of the ring, Stephanie began speaking once again. "Today is the day that will go down in history as we, the Authority, start a new era. The era of Shadows!" With this both Stephanie and Hunter raised each of her hands in one of theirs. The crowd both cheered and booed while the three exited the ring and headed up the ramp.

When they made it past the curtain Shadow was nearly knocked over by a blob of black and gray. As the blob stepped back she realized that the blob was none other then her love, Dean Ambrose. "You're here." She stated happily. "Of course I'm here I told you I'd be waiting for you!" Shadow blinked for a second before reaching up to her ears and removing a set of ear pieces. Dean quirked an eyebrow before asking, "What the hell are those?" Marie giggled at the look on his face. "They are special ear pieces that I'll be using while in the ring, since my ears are so sensitive. Hunter heard of my problem from Joe-Joe and had them specially made for me. They're like the earpieces musicians use but they are modified to keep the crowd nose out but still allow me to hear my ring partner and they are connected to the back as well just in case." Dean wasn't sure if her understood it all, he just knew that it helped block out the noise so her ears wouldn't hurt. Whether he understood the technology or not, he was just glad it would work. "Thanks for looking after my girl Hunter." Dean stated while giving hi a handshake. "Don't worry about it Dean. She's part of the family now. Besides she reminds us of our oldest daughter too." Stephanie smirked and nodded her head in agreement, while Shadow blushed. "Now remember you all have till the end of the show to catch up, but Shadow needs to be back at the RV by the time the show ends." Stephanie stated. Shadow nodded her head watching Hunter and Stephanie head off to do some business. Dean turned to Shadow, "Ready to go see your brother and puppy?" Shadow giggled and lightly punched his arm. "Yes I'm ready to see Rome and Sethie."
