"Let us love winter, for it is the spring of genius." -Pietro Aretino

"No pulse. Dead."

Those three words are perhaps the most uplifting arrangement of letters that Harley and Bucky have heard since they arrived.

"I've never been so relieved in my life," Bucky says, running a smooth hand through his tangled hair.

"What if he reincarnates or something?" Harley asks, paranoid of history repeating itself.

"Stop worrying. He's dead for good, and we're not just going to leave," Steve says. "We need to burn this place."

Bucky and Harley glance at each other.
"Okay, so we're going to set it on fire? I can do that."

Steve shakes his head. "No, I don't want to risk one of us getting caught up in it. I saw some bombs in the crates of the room I was trapped in. They're the kind that stick to a surface and blow up when someone detonates them."

"That's perfect!" Bucky says. "We can place them around the building and then get out so we can blow it up without any risk of injury!"

"And that way any survivors inside won't, well, remain survivors," Harley adds. "We can take Hydra down, guys."

They stand beaming at each other from ear to ear.

"Let's just hope they don't have alternate locations," Steve reminds them. "Then we won't be quite done with them."

"How about we take it one step at a time? Let's go; we have bombs to set." Bucky leads them out of the room once they make sure the remaining guards are either dead or knocked unconscious.

They have no trouble finding their way down to the cellar again. The crates are indeed full of yellow rectangular bombs, sufficient enough to blow up one room per bomb, according to Bucky.

"These are exactly what we need to destroy this place," he notes. "It's like they wanted us to blow it up."

Each one of them grabs as many bombs as they can carry and scatter. Bucky takes the right wing, Steve the left wing, and Harley puts some on the ceilings and the roof.

"Should I call a helicopter so we can see our glory burn from above?" Harley suggests before they depart.

"I think the jet I took here is still on the roof," Bucky says. "Check when you're up there. If it's not, then call S.H.I.E.L.D."

Harley nods. "And remember, those weren't all the guards in this place, so be careful. We meet back in the control room."

They separate to do their dirty work. Hydra headquarters isn't massive, but it's still considerable in size. Despite this, Bucky and Steve arrive at the scene only moments apart.

"Did you make sure they're all turned on?" Bucky asks him.

"I backtracked and double checked them all," Steve answers.

"Good. Did you see anyone?"

Steve shakes his head. "You?"

"Nobody."

"I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing."

Bucky sighs. "Well, let's hope it's a good thing."

Harley arrives then, slightly out of breath.

"What happened?" Bucky asks. "Did you fight someone?"

"Yeah, I had to take down a couple, but your jet is still up there."
