Chapter 3

A/N: The pairing for this story, or well the first half, is Rose Charm (SummerxQrow aka PercyxArtemis), it'll mainly be in the background though, if you don't like the ship then don't read this, but if you are just here for the storyline, then go ahead and keep reading. As the Hunters watched Qrow train, Thalia said, "Where did he learn to fight like this?"

"I do not know Thalia," Artemis replied as Qrow put his sword up and grabbed his flask. "I'm worried though..."

She was interrupted by a red portal and a woman stepped out of it.

"Hello little brother," the woman said.

"Raven," Qrow replied with a frown. "What are you doing here? I thought that you never wanted to speak with me again after what happened 12 years ago."

"Times have changed Qrow," Raven replied her hand never leaving her sword. "...Tai needs our help."

"Since when have you wanted to help someone without getting something in return?" Qrow replied with a raised eyebrow. "What's happened to my old friend?"

"He was captured by Iapetus," Raven replied causing Qrow to choke on his whiskey and begin coughing. "And I need your help to get him out of it."

Once Qrow had recovered he said, "I'll help, but..."

He then looked at the Hunt and continued, "I'll have to speak with my second boss in order to do so."

Raven then looked at the Hunters and said, "Well, hurry up. We don't have all day."

Rolling his eyes, Qrow looked at Artemis and said, "My sister here needs my help with something. I'll be gone for a bit."

"I'm coming with you, Qrow," Artemis replied with a stern expression on her face. "I won't be allowing you to go anywhere without me, or a Hunter, at all times."

"And I thought that I told you that I'll be doing what I want, when I want," Qrow retorted with a glare. "I am not one of Olympus' slaves, Artemis. I never wanted to be... Now I'm going to help out my sister get my friend out of trouble and you can't stop me."

He then walked towards his twin sister and said, "Lets go save our friend."

Without thinking, Artemis rushed into the portal and tackled Qrow to the ground, just as Thalia and the other Hunters shouted, "Artemis!"

At Mount Orthrys

"Why the hell would you do that?!" Raven hissed at at the goddess. "If you weren't immortal, I'd skin you alive!"

"Raven!" Qrow hissed back. "Shut up and don't talk."

He then looked at Artemis and said, "Get up, we need to save Tai and get back to your Hunt asap."

"Why do I feel weaker?" Artemis asked no one as she got to her and held her head. "Is that supposed to happen?"

Qrow frowned and said, "May I see one of your hunting knives?"

"Why?" Artemis asked.

"I just want to see if my theory is true or not," Qrow said with a sigh. "You are the first immortal to go through a portal made by a mortal's soul. We don't know what would happen to an immortal and so, as your guardian, I must make sure that you're alright and ready to fight."

Artemis, albeit hesitantly, handed him one of her knives and Qrow said, "This may sting a bit..."

He then her arm a bit, just enough to make her bleed, and golden ichor seeped out of the wound.
