Kevin smiled nervously as the song ended. It was the fifth song they had played, and Kevin had done it again, over and over. It freaked Clyde out, but he got used to it. Kevin swung the plastic controller off of him and set it down. Clyde did the same, somewhat thankful they were done.

"Hey, not to be creepy or anything, but during class last week, I remember you saying like, 'I wish I had the newest SubDog comic' and I was wondering if you want to read it?" Kevin asked nervously, not knowing where to go from there.

"You have the SubDog comics?" Clyde asked, his face lighting up. Clyde loved the SubDog series. It was about a dog that wandered into a Subway, befriended the workers, but when a quite frankly stupid employee was making a sub, he mistook the dog for a delicious, processed slice of ham. The dog became one with the sub and gained magic abilities, but Clyde doesn't know about them yet because he didn't read the Super Edition where it explains his powers in more detail.

"Yeah, of course." Kevin smiled and pulled out a box from his closet. Inside of the box were dozens of mint condition comics, both very old and very new. He sorted through a few of them and found the one he was looking for. He pulled it out of its clear plastic covering and handed it over to Clyde. Clyde took it in his hands, amazed at its condition. It was perfectly shiny and had a silk like texture on the cover and pages. He carefully opened the cover, surprised its never been opened before. He flipped through a few pages of the nonsense every book has until he finally was on the actual first page. The coloured illustrations popped out of the page as Clyde began to excitedly read the book as he sat on the ground propped up against Kevin's bed frame. Kevin laughed light enough for only him to hear. He's so cute... Kevin thought, grabbing a Star Wars comic from the box. He removed its plastic covering and sat down next to Clyde who was too absorbed in his book to notice Kevin. Kevin didn't mind. He found it cute, actually.

A few minutes passed and Clyde was still absorbed into the book. Kevin's read his already like 100 times before and kinda lost interest. Clyde began only holding the book with one hand, so Kevin took the chance and slowly got a grip on Clyde's empty hand. It wasn't until a few moments after Kevin got full grip on his hand Clyde noticed. He didn't say anything. His hand is oddly warm... Clyde thought, returning his focus to his book.

Daria looked around, dazed after the evil McDonalds owner tried to kill her. She ran out of the McDonalds faster than ever, hertail almost getting caught in the door.  Daria concentrated on flying away, and seconds later she was off the ground and in the atmosphere. She flew away from the McDonalds and decided maybe she should return to his house; Subway, Once she returned home, the employees cheered and gave Daria some chicken because she is a good sub-dog. Daria fell asleep next to the register so customers could pet her as they ordered their food. No doubt about it, Daria loves pets more than anything... Except chicken...

Kevin rested his head against Clyde's shoulder as he attempted to read the SubDog book along with him, but Clyde wasn't a fast reader so there was 10 second breaks between pages for Kevin. It annoyed him, but he wasn't going to say anything, of course.

After about 10 minutes Clyde finished the SubDog book. The books weren't long but they sure do hold a lot of action.  He shut the book and set it down next to him. Kevin started to sit up again but Clyde stopped him.

"Actually, uhm could you stay there? It felt nice," Clyde asked nervously. Kevin hesitates for a short second before returning to his previous position.

"Have you ever thought about what would happen if people found out your deepest darkest secret?" Clyde asked, looking off into the distance. Kevin thought for a moment.

"They would just hate me even more and that's a fact," Kevin replied, not moving an inch.

"I'm sure I wouldn't hate you. Your pretty cool actually," Clyde confessed. He never thought he'd ever say that to anyone, but it's true.

"Well, I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours," Kevin said dryly. Clyde thought for a second. Did he want to tell Kevin his deepest secret? Of course. He wanted to get it off his chest.

"Alright. But mine is probably worse than yours." Clyde warned, unsure of he wanted to say what he was going to.

"Okay, I won't mind." Kevin assured, waiting to hear Clyde's secret.

"I'm gay."
