" yo..you...your boyfriend ??? " Penelope's mom asked.

Then , there we were. Sitted in the living room , everything felt tensed. For a moment , the room was filled with silence. That moment felt like forever to me.

" So... " I said breaking the silence.
" Look mom dad , I'm 20 now. Don't you want your daughter to grow up get a boyfriend then get married ? " you stated.
" don't you want grandkids mom ? " you added.

The both of them just sighed and said " We're happy for you honey. But , we were just expecting you to tell us about it before you came. "

" Look Mr & Mrs Garcia , with all due respect I love Penelope with all of my heart. She is such an amazing girl and I feel like she's the only one for me. " He said while looking into my eyes and holding my hand.
" and also i'm really picky with girls. " Shawn laughed trying to loosen up the tense feeling in the room.

"fine. fine. you have my blessing. " Penelope's Mom replied.

Then , my dad stormed off the room and slammed the door. I was confused and thought does he not like Shawn ? does he not want me to get a boyfriend ? does he want me to stay single forever ???  I thought too much to the point I got angry at nothing.

" Sweetie , you stay here alright. I'll go talk to your father. "  mom said as she made her way up.

After she went in , I heard my parents arguing about me. I felt like I was the cause of them starting to argue. I couldn't help but shed a tear. Shawn then wiped the tear off my cheeks and said " don't worry babygirl. everythings gonna work out just fine. " he reassured me while holding my hand tightly.

Just as you thought of leaving the place , your parents opened the door and decided to come down. Your dad said " I'm sorry sweetie. I didn't mean to storm off like that. It's just that you're really precious to me and I didn't want to think of having somebody to take that away from me. " dad said as tears formed in his eyes.

" Aww dad , don't cry. You're gonna make me cry too. I love you dad. " you said as you run towards him to give him a tight hug.

" Group HUG !! " Shawn shouted to enlighten the room.

Before we left , dad told Shawn " take good care of her young man. I trust you and If you dare to even hurt her , I'll break you and crush you into peices "

Shawn gulped and said " Yes , Sir. "
It was cute and funny at the same time.
All of you exchange your goodbyes and Iloveyou's and head back home. You couldn't help but kissed Shawn on the cheek.

" What was that for ? " Shawn asked
" For everything. Thank you. " You said.
He had one hand on the wheel and one hand holding mine all the way until we reached home.
