It was a rainy afternoon, just like most days. I'm walking home from school. I see Freddy Bennet walking towards me, "here we go again." I muttered to myself. Freddy's frown contorted into a smirk, "what's up Loner Louis?" He said. "What do you want Freddy?" I asked annoyed. "You know what I want Louis." He said angrily. Now, Freddy isn't the nice type, he's more of the aggressive emo highschool boy, and honestly he's kinda cute.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out my wallet and gave him 20 bucks. He frowned. "This isn't all of it Louis." He said aggravated. "I need to feed my mom, I can't give you any more." I said. He grabbed my wallet and began to open it. I kept thinking to myself "You're gonna regret that Freddy." Before he could take anything I punched him in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose.

"Damn, that nerd can punch." He said. I grabbed my wallet and ran, I ran faster than I knew I could. Once I slowed down I realized I didn't recognize the area. I saw people that looked...happy. My town was usually gloomy and sad, but this town was very different. I turned around to go back, but it was a big brick wall, then I got confused. The town was so

welcoming it was sickening. One man came out of a deli shop and said "Hello there, pal. Would you like some salami?" He smiled. "Uh, no thanks sir." And I kept walking. His smile changed into a frown as I turned to walk away. "Where do you think you're going kid?" He said aggravated. "Um, I'm going home sir." I said worried. He looked with a chilling grin and with now emotion he said

"Oh, no you're not." Those 4 words sent chills down my spine. I began to panic when he stepped closer, his steps were slow and heavy, but continued to get faster every second. I began to run, not knowing where I was going or what to do next, all I knew was i had to get out of this so

called "town." After what felt like forever I managed to find a gas station. I walked in to ask for the time. "Uh, it's 2 A.M." the cashier said. I realized I couldn't go anywhere else, so I decided to camp out. It was a cold but the sun was still out.

I began to miss my home, with my warm bed and loving mother.
