Persephone

Lady of spring,

Once was Kore,

Now she is Persephone queen of the dead,

Wife of Hades,

She who brings life to the underworld,

The queen of the dead who rules besides her husband Hades,

Leaving the underworld guided through the darkness by Hecate and Her torches,

She returns to her mother and brings the beauty and life of spring to Earth,

She who represents the cycle of life for when she leaves the earth

The plants die and when she returns they come to life,

The gentle but strong queen of the dead who brings happiness

To Hades who grew lonely ruling the underworld alone

For his brothers had their queens but he had not,

The man that had taken her from thee earth she had came to love,

For lady Persephone had eaten the seeds of the pomegranate to

Ensure she would see her lover again and be able to see her mother

Whom she had missed.
