Chapter 11: Neglected

 Spring

I was having dinner with my older sister Autumn and my two cousins. They called me as soon as I was off. I haven't seen my family in almost a month so I had to show my face. I sat at the table scrolling through my Instagram. I felt my sister pull my phone quickly. I swear you're always on that damn phone what is so important. She said looking at the screen.

"Damn noisy much" I rolled my eyes."Hmmm who's that"? My cousin Reign asked. 
"Ohhhh that's Roc, that sexy ass rapper you work with “Autumn said smiling.
"Uhh yeah, now can you give me back my phone" I begged trying to pull it from her but she wouldn't let go. She's always been like this, ever since I was younger she would snatch my MB album's until I would beg for them back. She gave me my phone back and started laughing him. "You sure are lurking now aren't you" she laughed.
“Hell yeah you're all up in his business” reign joked
"Um first off all , I check on all of my patients and I lurk to see what they do on a daily basis" I explained ."Yeah I know what you want to do on a daily basis" she giggled while reign spit out some of her soda. "Ohhh y'all on y'all Kevin hart shit tonight okay that's cool and it's not even like that" I said getting annoyed
"Oh don't be like that lil Spring we just fucking with you " Reign laughed
"By the way I saw his fine ass at the Chinese joint last week I was on the phone with you I think" Autumn said and my eyes widened Everything was making sense to me. That's why Chres found out about my ex because my sisters' big mouth was probably being loud .But it's whatever he already knows. The waiter finally came back with our food; I ordered a chicken Caesar salad while my cousin and sister got the not so healthy choices.

"Still on that diet huh? Autumn asked. I rolled my eyes "Yes Autumn damn get off my shit" I shouted stabbing the fork in my salad. "Damn Spring why are you getting so defensive tonight, you know we just messing with you and you know you're the queen of comebacks quit acting funny" Reign scoffed getting mad. I wiped my mouth and placed my napkin back on my lap. "I'm sorry y'all I'm just super stressed" I expressed. 
"Aww honey is that damn Antonio "Reign said.”Yeah him and that damn Chresanto “I sighed
"Who's Chresanto? Autumn asked smirking
"I mean roc" I said quickly I didn’t want to give them any ideas that they already have.
"Uh oh you using that mans full name , but I can tell you really care for him" she said 
"I do but he's so frustrating at times he's like a damn sea saw one minute he's going forward then the next minute he's going backwards”. I explained.
"Well you know he's from the hood that's all he knows " Autumn said 
"Okay Autumn were from Philly but were both successful, so I don't see why he can't be I mean he's successful but if I only  he could get his head and life right.
"Hmmm spring you've never been so focused on none of your clients but him .You like him don't you" she asked."Uhhh no I don't “I said quickly. “Chres is too fast for me we are two totally different people and he's not my type” I said.
They looked at me laughing like they knew I was lying. “I care for him as a friend” I smiled.

“Says the girl that used to have all his pictures in his phone and wallpapers. Bitch your room at aunties house probably still has word up posters of him on there” Reign said.

“Oh whatever ya'll don’t worry about me, I know what it is thank you very much” I replied stirring my lemonade with my straw.
"Bullshit you like him and imma tell you this now, he's a player don't think just because you're helping him that he's gonna place his hoes to the side for you. Don't get attached Spring he's going to break your heart."Reign said.

"I don't like him Reign sheesh" I said sipping my tea well at least I think I don't. I whispered
"Yeah that's what they all say” Autumn laughed. “Come on let's go” She laughed getting up. Once we finished dinner we gave our hugs and we're on our way. I got in the car and turned on my radio making my way back home. My music was shortly stopped when I looked at the screen, Chres was calling me. I answered the phone.
