5 Years Later

February 10th, 2018

It's been 5 years since I dropped a single or even an album, I enjoyed my break with my family. Oh yeah! Family my wife Spring, Chase and her baby sister Cree. It's so crazy how all of this happened I would of never expected to propose to her and now we're a happy family. Spring told me to take a break and I'm glad I took 5 years to get myself together mentally, physically and emotionally. I have a great relationship with my father now and although I can't the time back that's lost, he's the best grandfather to our children. Chase is a 10 going on 20 now she's still respectful but she has days when she really runs her mouth and then she gets in trouble. She's an honor student in 6th grade and she loves to dance, that's her passion. She still does ballet and she's a perfectionist now her dream school is Julliard and I just know she will get accepted.

As for my wife Spring Logan August, I always laugh because her name is super fucked up now and she always gets mad when I make fun of it but of course I think it's cute. She has her own show called Change my life and she still works with Oprah. I call us the huxtables we live in New York and now we're both accumulating way more money than we ever did before. My other little girl Cree Mone' August is the goofiest 5 year old ever she has big eyes like her mother and poofy hair like her sister and I.  You would never expect how she got here Spring and I were at the MTV music awards I was performing and during my performance she was going into labor. I swear I ran off that stage so fast. Cree reminds me of Chase when she was little and I get all sad because my oldest is growing up. Soon they'll both be dating and I may have to beat someone's son.

I was in the studio letting Spring listen to my new music until we both were interrupted by Chase pouting and Cree smiling behind her. “Daddy can you tell Cree to stop following me I can’t even go to the bathroom by myself” she whined.

“Awww she just looks up to you honey” Spring chuckled.

“But Ma, she won't give me any privacy and when I'm on the phone she be all up in my ear” she whined.

“Blah, blah, blah” Cree giggled running into my arms. I let her sit on my lap as she played with my phone. “All that hollering how you wanted a sibling when you were younger now you're complaining” Spring laughed. “It's normal she'll stop eventually” She said. Chase pouted rolling her eyes walking away.  “Daddi why sis, so mad? Cree asked and we all starting laughing including Chase. She know she couldn’t help but laugh. “Look you and your sister go get dressed and we'll get some food” Spring said. “Okay come on sis” Chase smiled picking her up and going upstairs.

“Wasn’t she just complaining though? I laughed. “I know both of them are piece of work” Spring said. “You're a piece of work too, come here” I said. She got up and sat on my lap I turned us around. “Imma get you to spit some bars on this track right now” I said.

“Oh no you don’t want me to do that put Cree on there” she laughed. “Yo, you just gave me an idea” I laughed. “I'm just the best aren't I” she smiled laying her head back on my shoulder. I tried giving her hickeys on her neck. “Stop- Chres” she laughed. “What how do you think Cree got here, it wasn’t in no bedroom” I laughed. She blushed a little “Aww listen you hear that? She asked. She turned up the radio and one my songs when I was in the group mindless behavior. “Aww this used to be my song” she got up and started dancing.

“You better rap to me” she demanded. I laughed at how corny we were back in the day. “That’s if I remember the lyrics” I chuckled.

She started dancing and I started dancing with her

“Ayeee get it, get, get it” I laughed watching her dance. “Go Roc, GO Roc, GO Roc” She laughed. We we're having a ball. Everything was perfect and it'll always be that way. Troubles? Pshhhh those we're long and gone.
