Hate From The Fans

Y/N is so ugly.

I wish Y/N and Billie never met.

Billie is so much better than Y/N.

Y/N doesn't even deserve to be in the presence of Billie.

I hate Y/N!!

The hate from the fans won't stop. You see it every day in comments on posts. Billie's fans are really coming after you. They don't like you, and you can't seem to figure out why. Maybe they're jealous of you. Either way, it's getting to be too much. And you don't think Billie even knows.

"Billie?" you finally say after another day of receiving hate from the fans. "Have you seen the hate I've been getting?"

"What hate?" Billie says, looking confused. You pass her your phone, and her face immediately hardens as she reads the hateful comments and death threats you've been getting. A frown forms on her face, and she says, "My God." She looks up and locks eyes with you. "This is awful. I had no idea this was happening. How long has this been going on for?"

"About a month," you say honestly.

"Are you serious?" Billie's blue eyes flash with anger. "You should've told me, Y/N!"

"I'm sorry," you say softly. "I didn't want to get you involved in this."

"This isn't okay for you to be treated like this," Billie says, looking fierce. "It needs to stop. Don't listen to them, Y/N. Don't worry. I'll fix this." She looks angrier than you've ever seen her before, and also very protective. She looks back down on your phone and starts furiously typing something.

"What are you doing, Bil?" you ask nervously.

"Starting a live stream so I can address the haters specifically and tell them what bloody idiots they are," Billie says.

"No," you say quickly. "That will just give them a reason to hate on me more." You reach for your phone, but Billie holds it out of your reach.

"I need to do this, Y/N," Billie says seriously. "Trust me, okay? I need to make sure that the hate stops."

"Billie, it's pointless!" you say. "You can't make them change their minds."

"Y/N. Trust me," Billie says firmly, staring into your eyes. "Let me do this. I promised you I'd never let something like this happen to you, and I'm going to live up to that promise."
