Solaneglo- A day in NYC

Nico and Will had been together for over a year, and they were closer than ever. Everyone noticed right away, that they both seemed so much happier than when they weren't together. Even though no one thought the Son of Apollo could get any happier!

After the whole scenario with Lester/Apollo, and Austin and Kayla getting kidnapped, Everyone was kinda worried that it wasn't over. But they quickly realised that they were far past that, things were okay....for now anyway.

Also, the stress of being a demigod in general, was just.....well stressful. They both needed a break! Nico and Will begged Chiron for weeks out in New York. After weeks of saying it was just too dangerous or they were safer in camp, Chiron finally gave in. The pair were ecstatic!

They prepared everything and headed to the bus station. When they arrived in New York, they were in awe, there were so many people there and so many places in New York that they didn't know what to do first. They finally decided on going Ice Skating. Will was really shocked to hear that Nico didn't even know what it was! Will basically had to trail Nico there, Nico was dumbfounded to see all the people in them weird sharp shoes, looking so happy skating about on ice.

When they got their skates on and tried to stand. Will stood up normally, but Nico fell right back down again! Will was laughing hysterically. He managed to prise Nico off the seat and trail him onto the ice. Will had to hold him up, or he would have broken all his bones! It came naturally to Will, but for the Son of Hades, well......not so much. As you can imagine, he fell multiple times, even though Will was trying to keep him up!

The people around them, were even laughing sometimes, but not out of rudeness! About an hour and a half passed and they were both shivering. It was cold in New York! They changed into their normal shoes and decided to go to the cinema. They decided on The Greatest Showman, and Nico cried! Usually, Nico would rather die than let people see him cry. Well, except Will, because even though it was over 2 years ago, the experience in Tartarus never left him. He also turned to Will for comfort, when the nightmares and visions come back to him. Especially going through it alone.....he could hardly keep himself from breaking down when he thought about it. He doesn't know what he would do without the Son of Apollo!

When they camp out they were hungry, so they went to a pizzeria. They spent about an hour there and then went to a park. They didn't do anything, just walked around and talked, enjoying each other's company.

They finally decided to go back to camp, and when they got back, they went to the Hades Cabin and binge watched Riverdale, again! They eat the leftovers of the pizza and then decided they were still hungry, so they joined the rest of the camp for dinner at the pavilion. It had been an eventful day!
