it was already 2 a.m. when you heard something hit your window. you paused your netflix show, listening in the quiet to make sure that you weren't crazy until another tap sounded and then another. your room was on the second floor, it was pitch black outside, you lived in a small town, and you were quite the scaredy cat. you moved your laptop to the side, slipping out of bed and grabbing the nearest weapon which so happened to be a stuffed ryan plushie.
not very affective, but it would have to do. you tiptoed to your window, plus his gripped tightly in your hands. you've seen way to many horror movies and you knew that you shouldn't open the window, but curiosity got the best of you. you pulled back the curtain quickly unlocking the window and sticking your head out, right as a rock flew past you.
"shit, i'm sorry!" a voice whisper shouted from the ground. you looked down to see your best friend (and crush), san, standing in your grass in only a black hoodie and sweats, hands filled with tiny rocks. it was almost 20° degrees outside, but san had always been unpredictable. you let out a sigh of relief, toasing your plushie back on your bed before sticking your head back out the window.
"what the hell are you doing?" you shouted back, not loud enough to wake your parents, thankfully. you saw san nervously chuckle before letting the rocks fall out of his hands and stuffing them in his hoodie pocket due to the cold.
"i wanted to show you something," san explained, rocking back and forth on his heels as he looked up at you. you could only really see him due to the bright moonlight and you thanked the heavens above for your 20/20 vision.
