The days were dragging on so slowly for them, causing each moment to become dreaded.
It was almost disbelief that the others were gone and that only Kaminari and Bakugou were still standing, however much to their relief.
It's your fault, you know?
Kaminari couldn't shake the voice of guilt.
Each death is your doing. You got Sero to go to your house, you shot Kirishima, you -Kaminari felt the numb shock as his hand bashed into his skull, tears sparking slightly in his eyes however he quickly shook them off.
He knew it was true but admitting it all was just too painful for him. Especially since he knew the pain Bakugou was going through... which was not surprising considering everything. So when he looked over to see two concerned eyes staring in his direction, Kaminari couldn't help but crack a smile and force a chuckle. It was clearly overlooked.
The two boys were camping out in an empty bar as the night crawled over. Silence hung high between them. Kaminari wanted to speak, Bakugou did as well. However their throats were dry and any words just refused to form.
Despite this, the looming silence was deafening to both boys and nailed in the truth of everything. The truth of how alone they were was hammering into their minds and tearing apart their beings.
"So... what are the fucking odds?"
Kaminari couldn't help but be took aback by the sudden existence of speech from Katsuki, who's expression had gone from pity to typical rest. The air was thin enough to cut and yet the few words became like a blanket to the growing numbness within the room.
"What do you mean, Bakubro?"
The light-hearted emotion behind the words masked a variety of feelings which couldn't be explained. They couldn't be limited by simple words. But neither could the slam in the chest that hit Denki like a truck and caused black spots in his eyes.
"That it's you and me still alive."
Maybe that was just an observation. Or maybe it was something else.
He wants you dead. He wants the other three here. He blames you.The fear of guilt caused Denki's throat to go dry to a point of discomfort as his smile stayed plastered and he chuckled.
"Yeah..."
"what are the odds?"

She saw her proud grin in her face as her fingers danced against the glass of the tube. Such bloody deaths... ah, she lived for it.
To be truthful, it was pure luck that Toga was able to dispose of that detestable pink bitch.. she wouldn't have even known they were in there if it wasn't for the informative telling her that they were. Oh, how joy filled her at the idea of defeating that entire group of good for nothing, interrupting littl-
Oh goody, Dabi was back~.
Toga could feel the anticipation, a warming yet burning feeling of pure adrendaline, rush through her limbs at the idea of bragging about herlatest expedition. And here Tomura thought they would be a threat~.
Hah. They wouldn't even know where to find them. Toga couldn't helpbut laugh at the beauty of that. They were hunting for nothing. That duo of pesky boys, nothing compared to her dear Izuku, would be dirt on the pavement before they got anywhere near finding the hideout.
The laughter was pouring out now, tickling Toga's throat with jabs like knife wounds as it flowed into the atmosphere and punctured the hallways.
It came as no shock to Dabi to be a witness to such a scene, Toga holding her face as she laughed hysterically. At this point, he didn't even bother to ask about details and instead looked at the glass container Toga clutched.
Crimson filled it to the brim amd forced a partial smile onto Dabi's face.Soon, Tokyo will bow to the Villian League, and all those self driven "heroes" will be annihilated once and for all.
All they have to do is wait.
