At first it was silent. A dread filling the air as each stared at the bloodied skull of Twice, who laid unconscious and barely breathing on the floor of a cold tile. None were expecting to see the dent shaping into his mind or the crimson that coated Shinsou's hands like a scar that would never heal.

At first it was silent. Then the chaos ensued.

A flurry of blue whipped across Bakugou's sights, cutting Shinsou out of vision until the purple locks appeared once again, unharmed yet shaken. Safe yet terrified. Within reason, of course. Blood was coating all their hands, both literally and metaphorically, as the two bodies lied at their feet.

An eye for an eye, right?

Another silent whip of blue that scorched the side of Bakugou's arm, sending a screech of pain to his mind and causing a stumble that resembled that of a new born deer. Dabi was now clearly striking his defense as they made a point they were not the most heroic. They had murdered all the heroes. Now were only the students that could easily be mistaken for villains.

The flames were meant with an encasing of explosions, turning the middle of the war field into a blue fireplace for a split second before it dispersed into simple smoke. With that, Shinsou took the opportunity to disappear behind its' curtains.

Bakugou spotted the blur of purple hair before he saw the attempt for the bloodied pipe to hit the back of the black haired male's head. But it was stopped by a hand before the metal began to burst into flames, black melting to the floor as a glow was present in the villain's eyes.

There was a cry of pain as the blonde boy spotted a scarring burn across Shinsou's hand, beginning to run at the male as well to prevent his only friend left from being melted with the pipe.

A crash as both went tumbling down, slamming into the cold floor harshly before Bakugou sprung back up, with a kick in his step as hands clenched around Dabi's throat.

Claws tore at his skin, trying to release his grip, loosening it painfully. Follow his judgement, or avenge all those gone. Muscles tensed as the war of morals forced painfully behind Bakugou's eyes, watching as his hands turned crimson from claws that faded into the black room and hid behind the shadows of invisible figures. Desperate was the only way to describe the movements of the prey-like reaction.

But his morals peaked and the muscles released, causing him to be thrown back into the piped wall with little delay, his vision blurring partially as a sudden stab into the back of the brain took his breath like a pulling hand.

Shinsou could do nothing but watch as his hand was a charcoal black, pain soaring through his nervous system as blue flames danced unseen in front of his eyes. A scar for life. And no sooner than it had begun, it had ended with a crash into cold tiles, eyes leaving all focus off of Shinsou as he heard the struggle between the other two.

So when Bakugou hit the pipes, head just missing the risk of being stabbed by a deep metal pipe, the room seemed to go quiet. A body stood, his scarred skin shaking with what could be simply adrenaline, angry, or possibly something else; it caused fear to strike into Shinsou's very being.

Grab Bakugou and run.

Stay and fight.

Fight and die.

Choices that all seemed pointless, right? Right. But he couldn't just sit there as the beast of a boy stalked over to the wall, the end of the room. He got up, he had to, and a croak left his throat with the realisation of how little he had spoken since the beginning of the day.

"Why are you doing this?" No response

"Don't you realise how many lives are disappearing because of your cruelty?"
Once again, no response.

"Your partner is lying on the floor, possibly de-"
"Poor heroes, why don't you join th-"
And with that, Shinsou had him, grasping onto his mind and diving deep into the realms of insanity that lied there as a slight smirk crossed the purple's face.

This was about to take a turn for the better.
