Cuz I'm lazy  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Jade woke up the next morning with her head pounding. She opened her eyes to see her room surrounded by darkness -- not a single ray of sunshine piercing through her curtains. Whoever tucked her in the night before knew exactly how she'd be feeling. Though feeling grateful, she didn't really appreciate how the muscles in her body ached, and how she could feel a bruise growing on her calf. So waiting for a few more moments until the room stopped spinning, the brunette tried to stand up.

Once she did, she realized she was still in her blue gown -- which was another reason to respect her roommate. Slowly making her way down, Jade held onto the walls (simultaneously cursing herself for getting so wasted).

"Good morning!" Perrie greeted from the kitchen, the scent of freshly made breakfast permeating the air.

"Shhhhh!" Jade spat, sitting down on the couch and resting her head on the arm rest. "Not so loud, my head feels like it keeps on growing and will pop soon." She groaned. "I don't even remember the last time I had a hangover. It's horrible, remind me to never drink again."

Perrie laughed at her fragility. "I told you to stop drinking. You didn't want to listen," she walked to the brunette with her palm opened. "Here, take this."

Jade squinted at her palm. "What is it?"

"Two advils, and a bottle of water." Perrie put the items on the table in front of the brunette. "It's every hangover's cure." She also placed a pair of sunglasses on Jade's lap.

Jade let the blonde open the water bottle for her before she took a huge gulp of it. "I remember champagne," she started to recall, putting the shades on. "I was drinking my champagne, and I think I drank your champagne."

Perrie laughed, "You drank everyone's champagne...right from the bottle."

"And you did. You did tell me to stop," She continued, shuddering at the taste of the pills before swallowing them whole with another gulp of water.

"I also remember dancing." Her head shot up, and her hand found it fast as it started to pound again. "We danced."

"And you lied. You said you wouldn't remember so I danced with you." The blonde said, eating an apple and sitting on the opposite chair's armrest.

Jade smiled, "I was laughing...a lot."

"Yeah, you were laughing. It was good for you."

Her smile faltered and she combed her hair back with her fingers. Her eyes started weIIing up with tears, her throat growing with a lump. "I forgot my baby and I laughed." She covered her face and let out a quiet sob, voice cracking. "Perrie, how could I have done that?"

"Hey, Jade, you didn't forget. You've been through so much, and it's still a long road. It's okay if you took a break and just laughed for a little while. You know, the best gift you could give to your daughter is to live you life to the fullest and the best you could."

"I don't know how."

"We'll figure it out. A little at a time. And to start..."

Just then, a knock was heard on the door. Sighing, Jade wiped at her eyes.

Opening the door, Perrie let her sister in. "And we got a stow-a-way bride." She joked.

"Ha ha," she mimicked laughter. "Danny couldn't get this week off, so we're having our honeymoon pushed back 'til next month. It doesn't mean we didn't have a honeymoon night though."
