It had been a week since Phil's first terrible nightmare had happened. And every night, Phil came and slept in dan's bed. Dan was beginning to be concerned, as Phil had said that the nightmares were too terrifying to explain, and that he was loosing sleep. Dan had asked Phil a few days ago if he had wanted to see a doctor, and Phil replied with a harsh no. Dan left it at that and hadn't spoken another word for a good hour.
Today he seemed slightly better. He said he'd slept better the night before, and felt he could try and film a video. While Phil was in his room, dan started to google what he could do about the nightmares.
Remedies. Phil would wonder why I have weird ingredients and want to feed him something so, no. Essential oils. All those smell bad, and where would I even get them? No. Stones. Not even getting into that.
Dan clicked the images tab, hoping he could find some Pinterest thing, or a product that he could buy. Since the images tab shows everything, he came across a news report from about a week ago. The headline read:
Deadly virus plaguing the UK
Dan clicked on the article, because regardless of if it involves Phil's nightmares or not, he thinks it would be best to know if he could be killed by a virus.
Stages of the illness:
First, the subject will have sleepless nights, headaches, or fatigue for 2-5 days.
Next, the subject will experience night terrors, mainly depicting the death of betrayal of loved ones, spirits, or the subjects personal fears for 1-1.5 weeks.
After that, they will become impulsive or unusually angry about minor things for roughly 3-5 days.
Last, the subject will have strong thoughts of murder or suicide for an unknown period of time.
Either someone's fucking with me, or someone MASSIVELY messed up. Either way, I'm reading the rest. God hope it' won't affect me, and it better not lay a single HAIR on Phil.
How is the virus contracted?
We still do not know. So far it seems that it picks people at random, often those who have an article of clothing or toy that is old, passed down, or has heavy memories with it. So far, it does not seem to be contagious in any way.
Cures:
So far, we haven't developed a cure, as this is fairly recent and sudden. If you note that someone you know may be affected by this, contact the nearest hospital or keep the subject in a room with no sharp or potentially harmful objects within reach if they are at or nearing the last stage.
Ok, welp. That's enough for me, I'm gonna go and see if I've got any old shit with me. Probably not though. But, as dan was about to enter his room, a thought hit him like a truck. He said the one word out loud.
"Lion."
><
A/N: ayyy nobody's reading yet, but I'll keep trying :P
Anyways, what's gonna happen? Who knows? I sure don't (wink wonk) anyways thanks for reading and I'll update soon!
