As soon as I saw Cara, I ran as fast as I could to her.
"Caroline!" I shouted to get her attention.
She turned her head and smiled wide, running towards me as well.
We crashed into each other and surprisingly didn't fall. My best friend was back and I couldn't be happier. I gave my mum my phone and she got a picture of us hugging that I'll post on Instagram later on. Right now, we were going back to my house.
We walked outside and the icy winter air caught Cara off guard.
"Holy- I wasn't expecting it to be so cold!" She says shivering a little.
"Don't worry, we'll be home soon. My house is only ten minutes from here." I tell her.
My mom opens the trunk of the car and Cara puts her suitcase in the trunk. Then we both get in and begin the short drive back to my house.
