Chapter 54

•3 days later•

Emily's POV

It's 8am. The left side of the bed was still cold and empty. Honestly I thought that she's kidding. I don't really know what happened to us.It was already 2 days since Ali went to my mother's house. She slept here the first night after she got out of the hospital because she didn't want to bother my mother too late...it was 11pm . But now she isn't home.I can't believe that Ali actually leave me. Not literally but still hurts. I thought she loved me, I mean I know she loves me. But that she's far from me it's killing me. We hadn't spoken since she left. I decided to text her.

'Hey, Ali. I miss you.-Em'

She texted back immediately.

'I can't text right now. I'll call you later. -Alison'

'Um yeah, you can't....or you don't want to..Whatever I'll wait for your call. Love you so much.-Em'

She didn't texted back so I decided to go and check on Shannon but I took my phone with me. I didn't want to miss her call.

Shannon was sitting on her bed drawing something.

"Good morning baby." I said softly and went to her then kissed her cheek and she giggled.

"Mom look what I dlaw." She said excited with her perfect baby voice and handed me the drawing...There was me, Ali, the twins and Shannon. I teared up.

"Do you miss mommy?" She asked.

I looked at her and wiped my tears away and smiled.

"N-No. You know mommy will be back soon. Do you miss her?" Damn of course i miss her..

She nodded.

"So much." Shannon whispered and started crying.

"Hey, hey. Don't be upset. Mom just need time alone with Austin and Liam, okay? She didn't left us. Look...continue your drawing and I'll go make some breakfast downstairs right?"

Shannon quietly nodded and I wiped her tears away then ran downstairs.

My phone rang. I thought it was Ali but...no. It was my Boss.

"Hello Eric, what's up?"

"Where are you?You're shift already started. Look Emily, I know you have some home troubles but..." I cut him off.

"Can I take free week? I'll make it up to you, I promise."

Eric sighed."Yes. But that's the last time Emily." he said.

"Sure. I'll call you next Tuesday before work." I said and hung up.

I made chocolate pancakes for Shannon and me and it was already 9:30am.

•6 hours later•

The girls came over and we all sit on the couch.

"So Ali left you?" Hanna asked out of nowhere hugging Jackson(her son)

"Hanna!" Spencer and Aria snapped.

"Sorry...but it's true right?" She added.

"No. I mean yes but not at all. We still love each other. We're still married and that can't change. We still belong to each other. But just...everything that we've been through ...it was too much for her..for both of us. We'll fix this. After all we're family." I said.. I felt my wet cheeks. I hadn't realized that I'm crying. I wiped my tears away and smiled at them.

"Why don't you talk with her? It's not a big deal. You just kissed Samara." Aria said.

"I didn't!!"I yelled. "She kissed me and I pushed her away immediately."
