[No one's POV]
[Later on in the day]As the two skeletons lazed about the living room, watching TV, and unexpected knock came at the door.
Dust groaned and stood up, walking over to the door and opening it at crack to see who was at it. He froze for a second, "...Blue?"
"It isn't just me, ya' know?" Blue rolled his eyes and Dust opened the door all the way to see Bird and Ink accompanying him, "...what...what are you guys doing here?" Dust asked. Ink stepped up, "We'll explain, if you allow us in."
Dust nodded and stepped aside, allowing them in. Ink led the way, then Bird, and Blue entered last. The there skeletons looked around the house, confused, Dust did the same and noticed Classic's absence, 'He...might've gone to the bedroom.' Dust thought, recalling that Blue was one of the people Fell cheated with. The two had already made up from the situation but with what happened last night I bet he doesn't want the reminder,
"So..why are you three here?" Dust asked. Ink walked over to the couch and sat down, "We heard the news with Classic and Fell, we all thought he'd be here." Ink explained, "But I guess he ain't here."
Dust hesitated for a second before speaking, "H-he is here. I think he's in my bedroom, he was reminded of what happened and ran in there." All of this was still suspicion, but Dust knew Classic well and made a guess based upon his knowledge of him, "Oh... well, I guess I should leave then." Blue gulped, rubbing his arm uncomfortably, "No it's okay, Blue." Dust sighed. We all went silent before Bird spoke, "Well, we came here to check up on him, it must be hard for him." "He's doing surprisingly very well. He's been more himself and hasn't been restricting himself as much as he usually does." Dust scratched the back of his skull, "Less restricting?" Blue questioned, "Well...Let's say he's been more...expressive." Dust tried and succeeding in finding the right word to describe Classic without having the three guests suspect anything more than what they were. Friends.
"Well, that's good!" Ink smiled. Dust nodded, forcing a smile. But his mind began to wander at the thought of what had been happening between them the past week, they'd been 'flirting', calling each other pet names, telling the other that they loved them, bet something less than appropriate, and slept together... but that's what close friends did..right? He began to ponder and didn't realize that Blue asked a question, "Dust? Dust. Dust!" Blue called, snapping Dust back to reality, "Hm? What was that?" Dust asked.
"Can you call us when Classic is feeing a little bit more himself? We'd like to talk with him." Blue repeated. Dust nodded, "Alright, see y'all later then." The three skeletons said their goodbyes and left, leaving a pondering Dust. After a while, Dust walked upstairs to his bedroom, "Classic?" He knocked.
"Y-Yeah?" Classics voice cracked.
'Shit.'
"Mind if I come in?"
"Y-Yes... please."
Dust nodded and opened the door, he found a teary eyed Classic sitting on the floor beside the bed. Dust walked over to him and crouched down, "Hey, you doin' alright?" Dust asked, beginning to rub Classic's shoulder blade, "Y-Yeah...just got some memories flooding back..it's no biggie."
Dust sighed and gave Classic a peck on the cheek, "When it involves you, it is a big." Dust wrapped his arms around Classic and pulled him close. They stayed close together for a while, the taller rubbing the smaller'e shoulder blade. Once the smaller seemed to have calmed, Dust picked him up and gently laid him on the bed. Classic was about to protest but Dust shushed him, telling him that he needs to rest. Classic didn't reply knowing there was no use in it. Dust smiled in triumph before going around to the empty half of the bed and settling in next to Classic.
'Talking with Horror can wait 'til tomorrow, right now Classic is more important.' Dust thought as he wrapped an arm around Classic's waist, pulling him close and resting his head in the crook of his neck as he did before.
'Damn I hope I can figure this shit out soon...'
