A slight intro

Well, my name is Lazuli, translation is something like a stone from heaven. More a gemstone would my parents say, in the end it was they who named me.

I am around twenty years, not the highest person around and often been called a darf back in the old days. Not that I ever took it bad, darfs are hard working souls in most books.

But become one was never in my dreams, you see, I one day changed like the world around me. I were somewhat sent to a timeline that looked like it was from the Hobbit movies but not everyone were killed. Well, they were alive, those that should had been dead.

I remember walking to a convention were I had put on my some darf inspired clothes, first time I had actually managed to make something that looked like a dress.

Walking in a crowded area I suddenly felt like all air was sucked out of me, the temperature changes and then I were standing in front of huge gates. Knowing were I had seen them, my body froze as someone called out to me to hurry and so I did.

It was the first time I saw him, he who should had been dead. He had died in the movies and books, but there he was.

I had been looking over the hole inner place, it was incredible what they could make without electricity. Really, mind blowing, beautiful, breathtaking.

Then suddenly my eyes had meet his, locked as he were speaking. Doors were opened as people wandering inn, but I had frozen.

Out a side door came one of the sons, making a slight bow.
"My lady."

"My lord." I remember that this was more like in older days in way of speaking.
"Would this fine lady follow me in."

"It would be my honour." Taking his hand, being lead in.

Somehow I were glad he had been holding my hand, for I am sure I had walked into someone or something. This place was magnificent, so much gems and decorating things that would put those back home to shame.

A low laugh came from my escort" it's good to see someone adore this place so much. Nothing is more beautiful than this place, don't you agree miss?"

"Lazuli, at your service." He smiled.

"Kili at yours."
His eyes were following every move I did, not that I cared. My eyes and mind were taking inn the place.

"I am not dining with the king, I am a common darf." I said to him, just to clarify something. Not having a family name to back up to, best to play it safe.

He looked little surprised before showing me to a room with others in.
"Then we are here. Enjoy yourself."

I made a bow and thank him for it, finding a space in the corner of the hall.

But I almost choced on some meet as Kili and some guards came in, looked at me.

"The king wish that you would join them." He made a grin.

Every person in the room froze and looked suprised at me.

Standing up and slowly taking place by Kili, he looked like a kid from back home.

"What does the king wish from me?"
