"shhh." I heard a wisper as footsteps got closer and closer, I didn't know what to do. Just froze on the spot. But that ended up like a good deal.
When footsteps were gone, I were let free, just to see an other darf in the corner were we had hidden. He smelled of fish, maybe he traded fish or were a cook.
"Follow me if you want to get out."
I so did, getting out of the castle. It was even more graceful then from the window.
Life were buzzing about like life should. People laughing and having fun.
He took suddenly my hand and dragged me along the street.
"You have so much to see...." But as we passed more and more shop's without stopping I began to feel afraid.
He then stopped in the middle of the road and we were inches away from each other as I felt something cold to my wrist.
"One word wrong and I will kill you painfully."
I gulped.
"The king is in our hands now.." he smirked before dragged me to a new street were there was a little house in the middle. It was so plain and boring that you had to look twice to see it.
He unlock the door with his free hand, his face still smiling like nothing was wrong at all.
For a second I closed my eyes and prayed to any god at all to save me. I was scared, really freaking scared. Everything about me was shaking, hands, feets, yes everything.
"The buyer will come tomorrow afternoon... Till then.." he opened up a hidden door and push me in. Before I knew anything it was closed behind me.
At the walls were things written, names, how long and other things I didn't know.
There was a small window in the room, but it was so far up I couldn't see a thing.
I let my hand up, just so my fingers were seen. So maybe... I tear a little part of the dress and took it between my fingers.
Not soon after the sound of the dress getting destroyed he opened the door and I had already let the inner outer part down , hiding my little tear.
"Any more sound from you and something will go missing about you."
I gave a small nodd as he left the room again. Ending with my hands holding up the blue material, hoping someone would see it.
Maybe a hour or so, something happened outside. There was panic and rush of people everywhere it sounded like.
Then the door went up as I stood there.
"You!"
Rushing over to me, pinned me to the wall. Before putting over my mouth some clothes and binning my hands and feets. Then one punch, a new one. I could feel it and it hurt.
"Good girl." He said with venom in his voice.
Before taking out a knife and letting it easy slide over my fingers. That is to say my hands were tied in front of me with my legs.
"Now you know I were serious about it."
Before someone was knocking on the door. I were scared, maybe it was the buyer.
"Shh..." He said as he left me alone, closing the door once more.
I were putting the force of my fingers against the clothes to keep the bleeding in control, there was blood dripping that colour my clothes red.
Blood lost of the degree made me feel light headed but nothing dangerous, buy the guess. The blood had stopped in what felt like ages.
The door suddenly opened up to reveal guards, but I couldn't trust anyone, Backing up as good as I could.
"Easy, get the king."
They just stood there in the door opening, their backs to me.
Then horse hoves, someone barking order's before the guards stepped aside to reveal the king that stood there in shock. His eyes were huge as the doctor that rush past him and over to me.
He cut me free before taking slowly my hands, opened them with slight care before closing it in seconds.
"Hold it closed."
I nodded as my eyes were fixed on the small man that had taken his crown of and slowly walked over to me. His steps were more careful than mine.
He was like a small child that didn't know what to do, walked just over to me.
"Yes you may.." my words was quiet, but his eyes was asking if he could tutch me.
His big hand traced slowly over my beaten skin, there was something with it that made me realize that I were still alive.
I started to cry as I hugged him, just cried for my life. My body shaking of it.
A huge hand came over my back, stroking it slowly, claiming down.
Realize that I just had hugged him, I blushed and took a step away. But our hands were locked together in a knot.
He put on him the crown and slowly showed me outside. There was small horses waiting on us.
"You will be riding with me." He helped me first up before he got on and sat behind me. His hands were around me .
"He knows were to go."
There was people around , gasping as they saw me, bowing their heads.
His arms were loos around me, I could see he were sweating. But I was glad he didn't hug me closer. Right now I were paranoid as hell.
We got to the palace were the doctor took a better look over my hands, blood had already dried up and stopped bleeding.
The king didn't leave us for a minute alone, standing there by the doctor with a worried look.
"You are smart girl." The doctor said as he put new clothes over the wounds.
"Oh?" The king wonder aloud.
"She took and pressed her wrist thigh against the clothes to let less blood out. Holding her hand up made less blood to it" He smiled at me as he told the king.
I blushed as for me it was basic things we learned as small, but maybe women in this race had less life experiences.
"Would my lady join me?"
He held out his arm, locking our arms together. Showing me to a room were only a pathway was in the middle, rest of the floor was covered in dresses. All in different shapes and looks.
A blue dress with golden embroidery caught my eye, on it was a simple yet beautiful hair piece.
Suddenly out from nowhere came a darwen woman, picked the dress up and chased Thorin out.
"Better." She said laughing as she helped me change from my bloody clothes to the dress I had picked.
It was a little big, but she sew it together to make it fit for now. Helped setting the hair up and smiled.
"You look beautiful, my queen." Bowing.
"Ohh.. he haven't told you?" She looked suprised up, I shook my head .
"Well, he had planned to announce you as the soon to be queen. In the end you are his chosen one..." She suddenly hold over her mouth.
I actually started to laugh, it was good to laugh a little.
"Will you tell him?"
"No, but he could had told me..."
Not that I was sure about this. I were sceptical to how they would take me, would they agree to this? I didn't know, it didn't help I was a little stressed out now."But hold the stone away from him.."
