CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

"How's your sister?" A boy asked y/n.

She turned around and always having that blank face.

"She's stable...probably" y/n answered. "Suho...."

"Yeah?"

"You still like her right?" Y/N smiled which was unusual. It was rare to see the girl smile in that way.

Suho's eyes lightened up seeing her little girl, aka childhood friend, smile like that again.

"You know the answer y/n"

She smiled sweetly, but you can see how bitter her eyes were. Y/N liked Suho for a long time, but never confessed. She knows how Suho likes Jae Hwa to the point she would just adjust for them.

Y/N loved her sister so much to the point she would give and adjust everything for her. You would never compare how y/n's love for Jae Hwa, to the point she doesn't want to hurt her in any kind of way.

'Including liking Kim Taehyung'

"Hyung, how did you guys meet Kim Taehyung"

"You really dont huh?"

She slowly lift my head as she see how the boy pity her.

"You've seen him once y/n. Just... once."

"How? When?"

"V or should I say Kim Taehyung was in a band called BTS with six members including him. Kim Seok Jin was Lieutenant Yina's classmate in mid school. They were actually close to the point Jin would write letters to Yina about his journey on becoming an idol. While you were away, we met BTS with... Jae Hwa. Lots of things happened that..."

"What?"

"Someone was asked to assassinate Taehyung even Jae Hwa was hit"

Y/N's eyes were filled with anger. "Why?!"

"It was your father's order"

"What do you mean?!!"

"Someone tried to kill them. The other members weren't hit so the target was Taehyung. Jae Hwa was also hit with a different bullet. It was not expected"

"So you mean you all knew this?!"

"What?! No! If we did we did could've d-done something!"

Y/N sighed as she couldn't respond. She noticed how heavy the clouds were. It was dark and windy that it seemed like there was gonna be a storm.

"Let's go inside y/n. We don't want you to catch a cold" Sehun said and the girl nodded.

Y/N can be tough and all. She could fight boys and act like a hero. She's cold and fearless but she has weaknesses. Around the EXO group she would always feel relieved. She was always the one to protect others, but with then around she felt like someone is gonna be there when she's in danger.

Suddenly, she remembered Jungkook how sweet could the younger be. Jungkook who is always there for her when she was down. She suddenly thought of something and stopped on the middle of the field.

"Is there something wrong?" Sehun asked.

"I'll go back to school tomorrow"

Sehun smiled and messed up y/n's hair. She remembered that she hasn't thank Jeon Jungkook for everything he has done but in the shadows where the person who was always there for her, that person popped out of her head.
