Mark's POV.
I enter my house being exhausted from this long stressful day.
I have so much to do still but all I want to do is just rest and think about nothing.
My mom and dad are sitting in the living room having what seems to be a fun conversation.
They finally spot me and call me over.
"Mark honey come here for a moment"
I slowly walk to their direction, being too tired I don't even say a word.
"What has gotten into you? You've been going out way too often and you seem stressed out completely".
I sigh..
"Mom I've had a lot on my mind today and I rather discuss this tomorrow"
"Oh no young man you're staying here and explaining everything to me now"
"Mom please stop I don't want to talk right now, please".
"Mark as your parents we deserve to know what's going on with you"
I start laughing, a weak laugh...and slowly it turns louder, until I stop to look at my mom with a sad smile
"You suddenly care?"
I say as I turn around to walk away.
But I stop midway when I hear my mom yell.
"I do care! I've always cared! Why can't you see that we love you? What did we ever do that was so wrong?"
I lift my head up and tears were building up in my eyes.
And suddenly I spot donghyuck, hiding in a sitting position on the stairs looking down on the situation.
"Mark..I don't understand-" I hear my dad speak and I can't even bare to hear him finish.
"No of course you don't! You never did.."
I say turning around with tears rolling down my cheeks.
"You never understood me..at all. Never really wanted to know shit about me.
Always thought and focused on the money.
I don't need your goddamn penthouses or expensive vexations, I don't need big presents on my birthday or house maids to do everything for me.
Heck, donghyuck was the best thing you've given me!
I need parents! I need a mom and dad that I can turn to when I feel down, or when I feel hopeless.
And you were never that to me"
I turn around to leave and go upstairs to my room.
Passing donghyuck who was still sitting on the stairs and looked sad.
I walked into my room and closed the door, falling on the floor.
