"The Pegasus clan will be difficult to negotiate with, they're stubborn when annoyed" Alexei said looking to each of us.
"So where are the Pegasus? You said they resided on the North Mountains Allej" I looked to him.
"Right up there, is a cave. It leads all the way through the mountain into Pegasus domain" He pointed to the tip of a mountain close to us "Although we must be careful as they are not too fond of trespassers"
"How are we supposed to get all the way up there?" Aleksander asked, squinting at a small opening you could see in the mountain side.
"I could still teleport us up there" I suggested.
"No, we can't risk you getting ill because you aren't used to the amount of magik you are using" Alexei refused.
"I'm sure it will be fine, father. How else are we supposed to get all the way up there then-climb?" I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I did so.
"I'll ignore that sarcastic comment" he said and I shrugged my shoulders.
"Last time I checked there was a track leading up to the top of the mountain, it was used by the old Nijian army as a hideout in the early days of the war" Allej said.
"Then let's go, shall we?" Alexei said picking me up by the waist and putting me back on Allej's back.
"I'm pretty sure I can walk by myself Alexei" I complained, not liking how he was treating me like a baby.
"We have to be safe, Bellona. You have to be at your fittest for when you take back the kingdom" Aleksander said, reminding me yet again on how I'm supposed to save their entire kingdom.
I nodded absentmindedly and Allej started forward, with Alexei and Aleksander following behind. As we started to descend from the mountain tiny little snowflakes started to fall gracefully from the heavens above.
I looked up to the stormy grey sky above and relished in the feeling of snowflakes landing on my face, the cold little droplets melting and sliding down my face. I giggled at Aleksander's expression when he wiped some out of his eyes.
"One would think, you would like the snow considering you're from a land full of the stuff" I shouted back to him, teasingly.
"I have a love-hate relationship with snow" he grumbled as he blinked his eyes repeatedly.
"So I was just wondering with the Pegasus clan are they like talking horses with giant feathery wings or what?"
"More or less, although stories that you have been brought up with puts them in a rather positive light" Alexei responded.
"Pegasus can be quite veracious when annoyed" Allej said gripping his sword tighter in his hands.
"They don't like when people trespass upon their land but they are sure to help us, they like a good battle now and then" Aleksander chuckled.
"Something tells me you have personal experience about this" I said looking at him with a grin.
"A long time ago I remembered a story that my mother told me. Once she and my father were tracking a criminal and they stumbled upon a group of pegasus who were scouting their lands. They werent too pleased about it and attacked my parents. Put up a pretty good fight but in the end my parents won- but they did manage to give my father a scar along the side of his face" he said with a far away look on his face.
I smiled at him "that was a beautiful story" I told him as I kept hold of Allej's back.
He nodded and then flicked his hair out of his face, we continued on the journey up the mountain until we came to a giant gash in the mountainside.
