The four friends were totally upset. Ally had Writer's Block. Which meant no song for Austin, no video for Dez and no cash for Trish. It had come to the point where Trish had almost strangled Dez out of sheer frustration.
Austin and Ally held her back in time, but Dez had already made a deep gash on her arm with his equipment. Trish was furious. She stormed out of Sonic Boom, swearing total revenge on Dez.
"This is all your fault, Ally," Dez said bluntly one day. Austin thumped him before he could say more. "It isn't Ally's fault," he explained. "Writer's Block is totally natural."
"No, Dez's right. It is all my fault," Ally said. "I'm the reason you can't perform, Dez can't upload videos and Trish is so upset."
"Don't blame yourself, Ally." Austin tried to make her feel better but it was to no avail. Ally dragged herself wearily upstairs, embarrassed and depressed.
She sat down by the piano, and picked up a pencil. She was literally bursting with frustration and anger. She stared at its sharp, lead point. Slowly, she held it against her skin, and dragged it downwards; letting it dig deep into her skin.
Blood oozed slowly down her wrist, tiny traces of lead floating in it. Ally loved it. The pain was so...comforting...
She dragged the pencil lower down her arm, feeling the surrounding air stinging at her gashes. After a couple of seconds, the pain seemed to simmer down. Ally frowned. No. She had to have more. Frantically, she searched the room for something sharper. Ahah! She spotted a pencil sharpener and immediately began to sharpen the pencil, which was covered in crimson blood.
A silver glint of light caught on the blade of the sharpener, illuminating it. Ally dropped the pencil, and stared at it. Quickly, she took a hairpin, unscrewing the blade.
When she managed to get it out, Ally held the object carefully, letting it glide across her skin, creating dark red liquid fumes behind it. She wrote Austin's name, enlarging the letters with the blade. She peeled her skin away, so that she was left with almost nothing on her arm, but flesh and blood. She grabbed her fleshy hand, the pain was incinerating. She loved it.
Just then, Austin burst in. "Ally, we need to--" He stopped dead in his tracks. "What are you doing?!?!" He darted over to Ally, who had fallen faint because of lack of blood. He caught her in his arms, his shirt soaked with her blood. Her eyes were half open, smiling stupidly. She took her last breath, whispering, "Austin--try it, you'll love it."
With that, she lay still. Her fingers fell open, revealing the cause of her death. The blade. "NOOO!!!" Austin cried. His tears fell profusely, blinding him. He couldn't see what was happening. He took the blade out of Ally's limp fingers and etched her name on his hand. "Why did you leave me, you big dummy?!" he bawled. "For that, I'll..make you pay."
He held the blade and cut shapes and gashes into her skin, screaming, "You stupid girl!" Pretty soon, Ally's body was covered in written threats, insults and blood. All that was pure was her delicate face.
Slowly, he cut a wide smile into her cheeks, so that she would always smile at him. Then he cut tears of blood under her eyes, to represent that she made him cry.
Meanwhile, Trish was strangling Dez because there was no one around to save him. He tried to scream, but his windpipe was crushed. He couldn't breathe. So, with no air, and no saviour, he passed out.
Trish left, angrily, looking for Austin. Dez woke up a few hours later, but he was forever unable to speak. He hurried up to the practice room and found Austin and Ally, huddled together on the floor, covered in each other's blood, the words, 'I love you' etched on both their arms.
"AAAAHHHH!!!!!"
Silent scream...
