Vulkan: Brother, why do you need our Legion's within the other realm? Would not three suffice?
Horus: Under normal circumstances yes brother. But this is no normal circumstance, for we have a new world filled with beings that we may not know of. It might be a death world there and we need as much manpower as possible there. But some Imperial Army regiments are coming, those from Valhalla, Catachan, and from Terra herself.
Vulkan: So once they are done coming here and done training then we can pull our legions out?
Horus: Most yes, though your Legion might want to stay. After all you're Legion is renowned for your compassion and caring nature too mortals. As well the word bearers, and the emperor's children.
Vulkan: Why?
Horus: I want the populace of this planet not to look at us like monsters nor tyrants, but instead liberators and you and our brother's Legions are excellent at that.
Vulkan: Understood brother. What is the next course of action then?
Horus: Going on what I said before we need the Salamanders, the Emperor's Children, and Word Bearers to recon the surrounding area report back to me and any other Primarchs here about strategic locations, I want this fight over and fast. The resources of this world can benefit the imperium and father greatly.
Vulkan: So you want me and Lorgar, and Fulgrim to send out small companies to scout out the surrounding area and to make sure this is not a death world of some kind?
Horus: Yes, I'm asking you because Fulgrim would be too proud to do it unless ordered to do so, and Lorgar would try to establish another Imperial Cult upon this hill.
Vulkan: Understood brother.
Later with Emperor's Children 5th company
Itamius captain of the 5th company was having a bad day. Why you may ask? It's because to him it was unbearably boring, he and a quarter of the fifth company was stuck in a land raider while other quarters of the company was in other land raiders, and two predator tank's one in front and behind the land raiders. Nothing has happened since their father Fulgrim ordered the fifth company to scout the area around the encampment, but so far for the past three hours there has been nothing but open barren grasslands and plains. No town, no villa, no city. At least that was the case until the Raider he was in stopped. When they got out of the transport in standard battle formation until they noticed where they stopped. They were parked at a villa that has been burned to the ground and there were no survivors by the looks of things here. The burn marks on the last standing buildings looked very recent within the last hour or so since the buildings were on fire.
Itamius: All right fan out and look for what did this!
Sister of silence[they were assigned to companies that are exploring to find untrained psykers]: Why? There is nobody here, no mutants, nor Xenos. There is nothing to gain here son of Fulgrim.
Itamius: Yes there is. We can learn as to what burned this Villa to the ground and make damn sure we are prepared for it if it comes back here again.
Apothecary: Brother-Captain!We have found a survivor!
Itamius: What? Where?
Apothecary: In the well Brother. We have retrieved her and are doing first aid to stabilize her condition.
Itamius: Excellent!
Meanwhile at Annulus Hill
Vassal king: Where is the imperial army?
Imperial emissary: They are already upon the hill fighting the enemy as we speak!
Unbeknownst to the King the emissary was deceiving him for most of the imperial army has been wiped out and are training new legions to replace the lost ones and that takes a while. So to prevent one or more of the vassals from rebelling the Emperor Molt Augustus ordered an attack on the Imperium of Man's strong hold. It was a massacre, men were cut down with no regards for Honor, noble birth, or race(Demi-Humans) they were cut down the the Imperiums Bolters and Flamers. 60,000 were killed in the first offensive, another 60,00 would attack thinking the space marine's would be asleep, but they as well were cut down. No One save the marines remained unscaved in the second battle of Annulus hill.
Back to 5th company
Tuka: Ughhh..
???: She is waking up brother-Captain.
???: I can tell.
When Tuka opened her eyes she saw what she thought are golems. They were hulking bodies covered in a pink metal with most of them having knight like face plate's, and their eye's. Their beaty red eye's that looked into her soul.
???: Are you alright miss?
Tuka: Tuka, my name is Tuka.
???: I am captain Itamius of the Emperor's Children 5th company.
Tuka: Emperor's Children?
Itamius: Yes, we are the third legion of Adeptus Astartes. We are the sworn defenders of the Imperium Of Man.
Tuka: The what?
Itamius: We come from the other side of the gate.
Tuka: Ohhhh.
Apothecary: Now miss Tuka, could you tell us what exactly happened at your villa?
Tuka: A dragon. A ancient fire dragon over 500 years old.
Random legionnaire: Shame the Salamanders were not here, they would love to try and tame it for their father the "Lord of Drakes".
Other legionnaires: HAHHAH...
Tuka: I don't understand, Lord of Drakes? Does this lord of yours own dragons?
Itamius: No, he is called that for his home that have animals that look similar to dragons which he killed, also from the fact he equips most of his legion with flamers and their name is the salamanders. Anyway, where is the nearest villa?
Tuka: It is Koda village. We used to trade with it for medicine and food.
Itamius: Understood. Where is this villa located at?
Tuka: If I had a map then I could show you.
Itamius motions for one of his soldiers and one of them places something on the ground. Then it just popped up into a odd map made out of light.(Hologram)
Itamius: Is it down this road?
Tuka: Yes sir.
Itamius: Good.
5th company POV
Legionnaire: Brother-Captain, we have arrived at the villa.
Itamius: Thank you brother.
As they made their way into the villa all the people stopped what they were doing in awe and confusion as to what these metal boxes are doing and how they are moving. Then the ramp on the Land Raiders fell down and out popped the Emperor's children. With a predator behind them they warned of a oncoming dragon to the villa and how they need to evacuate immediately. But as they were evacuating one of the carriages broke down and the horse went crazy and nearly killed a girl with Blue hair. Until the apothecary shot it down.
???: Thank you strange people of metal.
Apothecary: You are welcome Mortal. Now come we have more civilians to evacuate.
???: Let me help. (Uses magic/Psychic powers!)
But as she did that the Sister of silence assigned to them immediately jumped to kill her. But was stopped by the captain, Itamius.
Itamius: Stop sister. She is clearly trained, after all se has yet to come under the possession of a daemon.
Sister: Very well, I will stay my blade for now.
Itamius: Come let us go!
