The wind rushes through Ryan's hair as he runs away from the demon that follows shortly behind him. His dark locks getting tangled. His breath running short. His chest lowering and rising as fast as his heartbeat. The area around him clear of any living being. Clear of any building but one cabin that lies about fifty yards away.
His vision blurs from exhaustion, fear, and adrenaline. He reaches the cabin and enters the small crawl space underneath. He lays there listening for any sound. It was quiet, not even the wind was moving, when a certain sound catches his attention. The moaning of a woman is heard.
He covers his mouth as tears fell from his eyes, to his cheeks, and finally to the ground. The moaning gets closer and closer, louder and louder until it stops. He removes his shaky hand from his mouth and looks out from below the cabin. The moaning had stopped and there was no one in sight.
Shuffling was heard behind Ryan. He slowly turns and looks behind him. There in front of Ryan in the crawl space was a woman. Her skin as gray as clouds on a rainy day. Her hair as dark as an abyss. Her eyes pitch black. Her white dress torn and covered in dirt. She was covered in bright red blood. Tears stained her dirt covered face. Ryan's breath hitched just as the demon's mouth widened and screamed.
A boy's scream was all that echoed in the field.

"Today's pretty slow.." said Alice as she made her way to one of the diner's tables and sat down. "Yeah..no one has came in today. Have you heard about the incident at Jackson Road? About the b—" Melissa was cut off by the diner's door bells ringing. "Yo! Melissa! Make me a sandwich would you." A boy with brown hair and black eyes walks in. His figure standing at 6 '2, his arms were crossed up behind his head. Along with a man at the height of 6 '6 and bright blonde hair with a woman at the height of 5'4 and light golden hair.
"Make it yourself you dimwit, I'm not your maid." she said as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Come on Mel, you know I'm not allowed back there since last time." the boy said. "You mean the time when you almost burned down the diner Alex?" the male who had been quiet stated. "Shut up Jake! You're not even part of this!" Alex's said as he crossed his arms and puffed his face. The woman that stood next to the male who was named Jake spoke up "You're acting like a child Alex."
The group of friends had bursted out laughing at Alex's immaturity. They caught up on recent events that had involved school and exams. "Yo! Alice you'll love to hear this!" Alex stated with a wide grin on his face. "Please don't tell me it's one of your perverted jokes." Alice grimaced at the thought of past jokes Alex had made. "No, even better something spooky." Alex said as he ducked behind his hand and extended his fingers while wiggling them.
"Oh come on, give her a break. You know it'll give her nightmares" Melissa stated giving Alex a look that said 'lay off'. "Well it's a real thing she's gonna find out eventually." "What are you guys talking about?" Alice asked genuinely confused. "About the boy found at a cabin." Jake said joining the conversation. "They said they found him all twisted up and eyes torn out." Ashley jumped in. Everybody's face scrunched up and Melissa piped in saying "Worst part was that he couldn't even call for help because he was in an isolated area. No service, no buildings, no cars, no people."
