Nobody's POV ;

It was about a month and a half into the project, Brooke started to grow them everyday. Skylar, Evelyn, and Emily began to change. Slowly but surely easing into the gang.

Everyone had a love interest in each other. Skylar was for Jason, Evelyn was for Anthony, Emily was for Damien, and Brooke was for Grant. The inseperable 8.

The more the girls learned about the gang, the more they were attracted to it. Not only attracted to their lovers who were gang members, but the concept of being in one. The more the gang intrigued them, the more basketball became more of a choice and they didn't feel the same passion. They didn't have the same desire. They learned the basics, the rivals, the hustle, the connections, who you get along with, and the dangers of it all. There wasn't much to learn, you just gotta know how to play the game. They thought about it like basketball, you win for victory. But when you lose, you lose it all. Pride, respect, and dignity. You never lose in the streets.

PhoneCall ' S = Skylar , E = Evelyn

E : " We have to tell Jah, Bri, and mamá about the gang before sooner or later. " She warned

S : " But we're not even official yet. " I whined

E : " That is true. But when we become, we'll have to. I'll be there with you when you do. As long as you return the favor. " She replied sincerely

" Evelynnnn , ben aquí por favor ! "

I heard my Aunt scream. I considered Evelyn's mom my Aunt because she was my mom's bestfriend before she passed away. She even became a motherly figure for Jah and I. I love her.

E : " Welp. That's my cue. Talk to you later Sky, besos " * 2 smooching noises *

S : " Besos. "

I sat on my bed, contemplating what can be this important. Why couldn't he just call or text me ? He's going to break up with me. I'm so stupid to get attached. I hate my stupid fucking feelings.
