Chapter 3: Match

Can found Ae the next day. The guy was having lunch with Pond and sitting next to Ae was a guy Can did not recognized.

He approached them and plopped down to sit next to Pond.

"Ai'Ae, I haven't seen you in awhile. P'No was looking for you."

"Oh. I already met P'No yesterday afternoon."

Can nodded and started to pester Pond for his food. The four of them talked. Pete genuinely seems like a nice guy, all soft voice and politeness. Which was surprising to Can because he thought IC student is just arrogant, mean jerks.

Guess it's just that guy.

He might be staring at the guy sitting next to Ae a little too long. Well, it's hard not to, the guy was beautiful, with his red lips, fair skin, his bangs falling just slightly that almost cover his eyes and his face expression was similar to a baby deer. Can might not be gay (lol) but he sure can appreciate the beauty.

"Ai'Can, why are you staring at Pete like that? You are gonna make Ae jealous. Don't say you start to fall in love with Ai'Pete too." Pond said jokingly.

Pete blushed adorably. Ae swatted the back of Pond's head.

"This is Pete. My..." Ae paused "friend from IC program"

"Friend, my ass" Pond said loudly.

"Oi Ai'Pond, did you swallow a microphone this morning? You are too loud." Ae asked, annoyance evident on his face.

Pond just grinned.

"Pete, I want to buy some drinks. Do you want anything?" asked Ae as he started to stand up.

"Anything is fine, Ae krab"

Ae nodded and smiled at Pete. He was already halfway to the drinks stall when Pond realized the guy is gone.

"Oi he only asked Pete. I want a drink too. Oi Ae, wait for me!"

Pond stand and started to jog slowly towards Ae. Can and Pete were the only one left at the table.

Is something going on Ae and this guy? Ae surely behaving differently. As much as he wanted to ask about it to Pete, his mind decided to ask about the guy who is slowly becoming the bane of his existence.

"Ai' Pete. You are from IC program, do you know this guy. Tall, fair skin, panda eyes and kinda rude." Can described.

Pete tilted his head in question. "What is his name?"

"Tin"

"Ahhh Ai'Tin. He's a good friend of mine. Do you know him?" Pete smiled.

How the hell that asshole have a friend like Pete. They were complete opposite!

"It's good if you know him, then we can all hang out together. I didn't know he had other friend in the campus. It's good that he had other friend." Pete added.

There's no way in hell he wanted to hang out with that jerk.

"Wait, Pete-" Can started. He really did not want to meet that guy again.

"AI'CAN! I don't know if you want drinks but I get one for you anyways" Pond said, effectively cutting off Can's words.

"Here I got you your drinks" Ae said to Pete.

"Thank you, Ae krab" Pete smiled sweetly to the shorter boy.

Pond put a cup of milk tea in front of Can.

"Here is yours, Can. Aish you should see that guys at the stall just now. The nerve of some people!" The loud boy proceed telling Pete and Can about a group of guys cutting the queue at the drinks stall.
