Three Wishes [TinCan]

Chapter 5: Gucci

Can was lounging on the couch at the living room while Gucci played lazily around Can.

"Can, Gucci is a few days behind for his vaccine shot. Let's take him to the vet, na." Can's mother said.

"Aww, mae. I don't feel like going out today." Can said as he squirmed around on the couch, trying to act adorable so he can get out of going to the vet.

A pillow hurtling at a fast speed suddenly was thwacked at Can's abdomen. Can shouted, not in pain but in surprise.

"P'Can, stop being childish. Let's go to the vet." Ley said, her hands crossed around her body.

His mother and sister waited expectantly for him to get up.

"Fine but we are stopping for snacks on the way home." he groaned.

"I'm going bankrupt because feeding you alone, you know." Can's mother said.

Can just grinned at his mother.

They arrived at the vet and Gucci was getting restless in the backseat. The dog found the ride enjoyable for the first few minutes before trying to find an escape way from the vehicle.

"Can, you take Gucci first, okay? Ley and I going to find a place to park the car."

"Ok, mae"

Can exited the car, his hand holding Gucci's leash. The dog probably excited after going out of the car, he started to run.

Can was having a hard time keeping up with Gucci, suddenly the leash slipped away from his hand. Can panicked as his dog run further from him.

"Gucci!" he shouted.

Gucci ran straight to a person and the guy squatted down to stop the dog. Can finally arrived at Gucci, slightly out of breath.

"Thank you for your h--" Can's word was cut off when he realized who had stopped his dog.

Why of all the people in the world?

Tin stand up, smirking at Can.

"Gucci...Gucci." Can tried calling for his dog.

Gucci had the audacity to ignore Can. The dog just sat next to Tin, tail wagging excitedly.

Seeing the dog ignored Can and stuck like glue next to him, Tin smirked harder.

"Ai'Asshole, what are you smiling at?"

Can tried calling Gucci again but it seemed like his dog was too busy staring at Tin, heart eyes were obvious on the dog's eyes. Tin was stroking the dog's head with a soft look on his face. It was bizarre for Can to see that kind of expression on the face that always argue and insult him.

Because of Gucci didn't want to part with Tin, Can had to bring Tin along to the vet where his mother and sister were waiting. Tin had help Can to hold Gucci when he got his vaccine shot.

"Thank you, Tin for helping us. I never thought Gucci would like someone outside our family this much." Can's mother said to Tin

"You're welcome."

"We are going to get some meal. Let's go together na, Tin "

"Do we have to invite him, mae? Let's go to lunch with just us." Can objected.

"CANTALOUPE! Tin already helped us, we should repay him. Besides, he is your friend."

"Aww mae, I told you not to call me by full nickname."

And I'm not his friend.

"Is Can short for Cantaloupe?" Tin asked.

Can's mother just nodded and gave a small smile.
