What happened

I call an Uber and immediately head to the secret spot kian and I shared while we were together. It was a hidden cave along the beach front. He took me there and it was lit with candles and had a blanket and food inside. I miss those times. The simple yet romantic moments we shared. What happened to us? What happened to him? I thought we were fine. In love. But then it all changed. He became distant. Quick tempered. Cautious. He could never speak to me about certain things. There was a time we could tell eachother anything. Then it changed. A million thoughts ran through my head. Had he fallen out of love? Was he only using me? Did something happen? Did he cheat? I never thought kian could cheat. That was the last thing I ever thought but it didn't rule out as a possibility. Why else would he be distant? Unless i did something. But what could I have done that made him react that way? These thoughts circulated my mind as I made my way to our spot. Finally I got there. He was sitting staring at the water. He hadn't noticed me until I slipped on a rock and fell in. "Ahhhh" I yelled. Then I landed in the water. Thankfully it wasn't too shallow not to deep. "Jesus Christ Tessa you scared me." He said while trying to catch his breath. "Whoops" I said innocently. He reached his hand up and helped me into the cave and wrapped his jacket around me and told me to sit in front of him and he wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm. "Why are you here tessa" he asked, his voice filled with emotion. "I needed to see you." I said. His body tensed. I can feel his muscles and abs against my body. Don't let me go please. "Why did you need to see me?" He asks. "To tell you that I miss you..and want you back" I say wearily. And so he can just about hear me. "Tessa..." I knew this was going to happen. I start to move his jacket of my shoulders to get up when he grabs my arm and turns me to face him. Smiling probably the biggest smile I've seen. "You don't know how long I've waited for you to say that" he wraps his arms around me and pulls me close peppering my face with kisses making me die from laughter. "S-stop it tickles" I say barely. He stops. "Tessa, will you please take me back?" He asks. "Of course I will" I say. Finally we both lean in and kiss. Damn I've missed him. I've never kissed him with so much emotion. I finally feel whole again. I need him. And he needs me. We will make this work. I don't care if something happens. I am determined to make this last. I love him too much to let him go.
