Chapter five: curiosity
Cessy's Pov
"Gosh ang gwapo nung naka yellow hair! "
"Diba sila yung Princes of the Maddisen University?"
"Hala?! Oo nga girl ano kayang ginagawa nila dito.. Diba class hours pa ngayon? "
"Gaga eh kita rin naman eh anong ginagawa natin dito class hours din natin"
"Aba edi nag cutting"
"Pero girl.. bakit may kasama silang nerd? "
"HANDSOME PRINCES!! bat may kasama kayong panget!! Ako nalang dapat?!"
So noisy! If I didn't have my nerd disguise, maybe all your jaws would drop at the sight of my beauty. Hahaha, just kidding. I'm not that pretty, but I'm prettier than these looking clown bitches.
"We're here " Louis said.
I didn't realize we were already here.
"Okay, I'm going to find some books that I like... be right back," I said.
I left them there, knowing they wouldn't disappear. I wandered through the bookstore, looking for a book that caught my interest. The mystery and thriller sections had some great options. If only I could buy them all... hahaha.
Then I made my way to the Gore Section, where they had books about killing and other intense subjects.
"Mhmm, so ito pala yung hilig mong babasahin," a voice said.
I turned around and saw the most handsome guy I know... Ace. Yeah, I admit he's handsome, just like those two fools.
Come to think of , it's only been hours yet it feels like I've been friends with them ever since. Weird
"What are you doing here?" I asked with a poker face.
"Wala lang nag hahanap din ng libro, pupunta sana dapat ako sa mystery/thrill section ng makita kita dito" Ace replied.
Oh, so he does know how to speak Tagalog. I thought he couldn't. Dumb me, of course, he knows.
Speaking Tagalog kinda suits him, he looks even more handsome. Why am I talking such nonsense?
So he likes reading mystery too, huh? Because earlier, I was in that section.
"Ah, okay," I replied.
"Mhmm, you like reading these?" he said, raising a book with the title 'Psychotic.' I already finished reading that book.
"Yeah," I replied.
"Ahhh," Ace said.
When I found what I wanted to buy, I started walking towards the cashier, and Ace came along.
"You done choosing?" Ace asked.
I didn't know that he was kind of a chatter.
"Yeah," I answered.
I kept walking, holding the books I was going to buy: 'Psycho's Diary,' 'The Murderer,' 'The Unknown Killer,' and 'The Psycho and Killer.'
(A/N: The titles were only made by me.... Hehe)
Before we reached to the cashier, I told him something.
"You know, Tagalog kinda suits you," I remarked.
As we reached the cashier, I saw Chris and Louis waiting for us.
"₱2800, ma'am," the cashier said.
"Psst, Chris," I whispered.
Chris looked at me and started paying for my books at the cashier.
"Thank you, sir and ma'am. Come back again," the cashier said.
I just nodded and went out, and they followed as well
"Why are you guys so quiet?" I asked, noticing their unusual silence. Did something happen while I was gone?
"I'm just hungry," Chris replied.
"He's not actually hungry, he just can't believe that he lost to someone... especially a girl" Louis added.
"Sorry, but I guess I am now the best player in the world," I said with a smirk.
"Psshh," Chris grumbled.
Ace's Pov
When she left to find a book, I couldn't help but think that Chris lost to someone like her.
There's something strange about her, when she smirked, I couldn't help but feel chills. She looks intimidating, something like that.
Where did i saw her smirk? Well before they started playing i saw a glimpse of her smirking.
"Hmph, I still can't believe that she defeated both of us," Chris said.
"Hahaha... Me too, it's kind of hard to believe," Louis replied.
"Did you two notice something about her?" I asked.
"About what?" they said.
"When she smi--... Forget it... I also want to buy some books or maybe just look around the store, be right back," I said.
I was in the Sci-fi section, looking for a book to buy.
I didn't find anything interesting in the Sci-fi section, so I decided to check out the mystery section. As I was browsing, I noticed Sy in the gory section.

I didn't know she was there to find what she wanted to read; she's so mysterious. Why does she love reading books like that, which contain blood, killing, slaughtering, or something like that?
Nevermind, I should just approach her.
When I'm already at her back, I quietly watch for what she's doing. She's really serious about looking for what she wanted to read, hmmm.
