Chapter Two:
*Troye's POV*
"Alright class. Today we are going to be paring off and doing something a little different. Pick a partner." Hannah announced. I quickly looked around the room. Almost everyone was in pairs except me. I scanned the room and then was shocked to see the only other person without a partner was that blue haired boy.
That's strange. He talks to literally everyone, why doesn't he have a partner?
"Troye?" Hannah looked up at me.
"Yes?" I replied, looking kind of lost in the crowd of pairs.
"Would it be okay if I paired you with Tyler? Neither of you seem to have picked anyone else and I really think you two would be an interesting pair for this exercise."
"Sure." I said as I looked over at the blue headed boy, or as I was just informed, Tyler.
I walked over to him with caution. I had planned on trying to make a new friend today and I guess fate had decided to pick Tyler.
"Well Hello. My name is Tyler Oakley, and today, I guess we're partners." he greeted with a little laugh. His laugh is adorable.
"Hey. I'm Troye. Troye with an E." I said, mentally facepalming myself for being so awkward. This, surprisingly, just made him smile even bigger than before.
"Nice to meet you Troye with an E." He beamed, reaching out and shaking my hand.
"Alright guys. Today we are going to be doing something very different than your used to. Instead of reading from a script, we are going to be doing some improv. Troye? Tyler? Would you two like to go first?" Hannah asked, smiling at me, making it impossible to resist.
"Yes!" Tyler shouted. Someones excited.
"Alright," Hannah began to explain that we were just supposed to start a scene and see where it led. This made me extremely nervous.
What am I suppo-
"Troye! How dare you lie to me? I can't even look at you right now!" Tyler screamed.
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"You shouldn't tell a man you love them then act like this! I thought you really cared!"
Oh, this is part of the scene.
"I'm so sorry, Ty," Ty? Where did that come from? "I do love you. I'm just so shy. I don't know how to act around you. I see you and get so flustered. I can't help it."
"But you've been so distant lately. It's like you're pushing me away."
"I know," I stared down at my feet, biting my lip looking as hurt as I could. "H-how can I make it up to you?"
"Oh Troye, come here." With those words, Tyler pulled me into his embrace. His arms were around my hips and before I knew what was going on, he had pressed his lips firmly against mine.
Obviously, it was supposed to be a stage kiss, but it definitely didn't feel like one. It felt like I had actually hurt him and this kiss was making up for it all. I was so caught up in the kiss that I almost didn't realize everyone was clapping until Tyler pulled away.
"Wow. That was," Hannah paused for what seemed like forever. "Amazing. I didn't even know you two were acting. Troye?"
My heart started racing. What did I do wrong? Was the kiss too much? Did I stutter too much?
"You were so great!" I sighed in relief at Hannah's words. This is the first time I've actually felt proud about being so shy.
The rest of the class went pretty fast. I watched as all the other pairs tried to improv different situations, although Hannah did seem as impressed with anyone elses as she did with mine and Tyler's. I guess I couldnt blame her. Ours was the most dramatic and realistic one. Although we had just met, we had some weird connection when performing.
After class ended, Hannah pulled me to the side.
"Hey, Troye. Umm, would you wanna come out to dinner tonight with me, Grace, and some others from the group? Hannah asked, looking kind of nervous, although I'm not sure why.
"Yeah, sure! Text me the details." This is good. I'm going out with a group of people tonight. Wait, I'm going out with a group tonight.
Obviously, I had gone to dinner before, but I had never really went out with any "friends." What do I even wear? What time? Where? Just like she could read my mind, Hannah had texted me that we were going to a little diner at 7 and not to look too formal.
I finally arrived at the diner after an hour of deciding what "not too formal" meant. I had decided on going with a pair of black skinny jeans and a printed sweater, because it was pretty chilly out tonight. As I walked in, I was surprised to see Dan and Phil, a pair of "friends" from Englad, sitting with Hannah and Grace. Dan and Phil seemed to have moved th LA around the same time I had. None of us knew exactly what their relationship status was. They always said they are "just friends," but the way they look at each other and stick to each others sides constantly makes me question that.
"Hello!" Hannah said smiling brightly at me standing up to hug me. I wasn't really a hugger, but apparently Hannah was. "This is Grace, by the way. I don't think I got to properly introduce you two earlier."
"Hey, I'm Grace, obviously." Grace laughed and looked at Hannah teaslingly.
"Hey," I said awkwardly sitting down. As I got comfortable I looked up to see that I was sitting infront of none other than Tyler. This night is going to be interesting.
