*Tyler's POV*
It's been a few days since Troye and I decided to start a YouTube channel. We decided that today we would go shopping for equipment for shooting videos.
"Okay, so here's the list we've came up with: two lights, a camera, a tripod, and some.. paint? Why paint?" Troye questioned.
"Because we need to paint a room at my place to film." I said matter-of-factly.
"But why?" He whined.
"Because we need a fabulous background that's not too distracting."
The rest of the ride to the store was pretty quiet. Troye's leg bouncing up and down rapidly the whole ride made it obvious he was nervous, but I'm not exactly sure why. When we got into the store, he seemed to calm down some.
It felt like it took forever to find the lights we were looking for. We had to talk to four different sales associates just to find two stinking lights. After we found them, we ventured over to the paint department.
"How about blue?" Troye winked, looking up at my blue hair.
"To be honest, I don't even really like the color blue. I know I know. You're thinking I'm crazy for dying my hair blue, but it looks cute." I explained.
"Hmm then how about green?"
"As long as it's a nice subtle Lucky Charms milk green, then yes."
"You are the weirdest person I know when it comes to colors." Whined Troye.
"You love me." I stated, earning an eye roll and a playful shove from Troye.
This little twink, I swear.
We finally picked up everything we needed, including a very pricey camera, and then headed back to my place to paint. When we got there we quickly put everything away and prepared to paint.
I figured painting with Troye was going to be messy, but I didn't think two boys could get this messy. My white v-neck t-shirt ended up with splashes of that soft green paint all across it. Troye's hair was streaked with green, which didn't look half bad by the way. There were green specks left on my glasses and even a green kiss on Troye's cheek. Maybe next time he won't get paint on my lips.
"You know, I wouldn't mind painting your face." I said cheekily.
"You paint?" Troye seemed intrigued.
"No.. But I mean we could always do some sort of face painting thing, eventually. We already seem to like painting on each other." I winked.
I probably shouldn't have said that, because as I turned around, I felt a wet slap on my butt. Of course it was none other than Troye giving me some type of payback for making him think I was some sort of artist. Little did he know, this was just the beginning of a huge paint war. Needless to say, neither one of us won. By the end, we were both laying on the tarp we put on the floor, completely covered in "a subtle Lucky Charms milk green" paint.
Seeing Troye's genuine smile, hearing him laugh, and being with him all day was great. But the best part was Troye's green head laying on my chest, face turned toward me, hopefully, leaning up for a kiss.
