Moody Draco

Draco's hair had only been red and green for two days and he was already thinking about cutting it all off. "I mean it Eve. When will this ridiculous potion ware off?" I sat there giggling "you'll have to wait and see." Amelia was laughing under her breath aswell as Holly and Charlie.

The week was nearly at an end and Draco's hair was slowly going back to normal. I had a feeling though that he was not going to forget about this for quite some time so I had to be on high alert so then he didn't do something worse to me.  "Hey Draco." I said as I sat next to him in the common room. No response. "Well someone is in a good mood. Just because I got my revenge." I snapped standing up and walking to the girls dorms. I picked up my book and started reading it. "The Lord of the rings? Sounds interesting. Where did you get it from?" Charlie asked making me jump whilst she sat on the edge of my bed. "Oh I got it when I went to Diagon Alley but I had to make sure my mother or father didn't see me buy it otherwise it would be confiscated cos it's classed as a muggles book." I replied with a slight smirk. She nodded  understanding. "Who wants to go for dinner?" Holly asked entering the dorm a while later. "Sure." Me and Charlie said at the same time.

After dinner I was walking back to the dungeons where the common room was with Amelia, Holly, Charlie and two other girls called Daphne Greengrass and Astoria Greengrass both in Draco's year when Draco suddenly barged past me knocking me into the other girls as he went by. "Just what I wanted you to do thanks" I yelled at him as I had got my balance back. "He's so pathetic" I said and the others agreed with me.

Classes had just started back again so I went down to the dungeons after breakfast. "Miss Malfoy what would I get if I added these ingredients together?" Uncle Sev points at the ingredients knowing I would get the answer right. "An invisibility potion professor" I answered calmly after giving him many answers. "Well done 20 points to Slytherin." I smiled that I was was getting all the easy questions and I was able to win my house some points even if he was my uncle. The class ended soon after that and then Holly looked as if she was trying to work something out. "Eve why did Snape keep asking you the easy questions when he knew you would be able to get them right?" She asked confused. "Because she's his favourite student and his only sort of niece" Replied Amelia. "Wait what?" "He's my uncle well I call him my uncle when he isn't blood related but he is a good friend of the family." I explained to Holly and Charlotte. They looked as if they understood what I was saying so we walked off to flying lessons.

Flying was the usual although there was one girl that still was struggling to get her broom to fly in a straight line. It isn't that hard along as you are confident in it. Luckily we were nearly inside because it had started to snow outside and it was freezing so we rushed back to the castle in a small group to try and stay as warm and as sheltered as possible.

Draco's mood still hadn't changed however instead of taking it out on me he was taking it out on Neville Longbottom who looked as if he was wishing for the floor to swallow him up just to get away from my idiotic brother. I rolled my eyes and continued talking to the others. We were talking about the people who had been petrified and how many more we thought there was going to be. I decided to write a letter to mother that night asking what she knew about the chamber of secrets and if she could help me decide what was petrifying people. I highly doubted that she could but it was worth a try. I saw Harry glaring at my brother but he must have realised I was staring at him cos the then glared at me. I just rolled my eyes at how pathetic people could be. I get it our parents worked for the man that killed his parents but it doesn't mean that we did. Plus it's just a stupid name that has a bad reputation. If people actually talked to me and Draco properly then they would see that we aren't that bad. You can't choose your family but you have to live with it and that's what people seem to forget. They only saw us for what our parents were involved in years ago but they never actually got to know us for us. However there are some that do get to know us like my friends and some muggle borns that don't know what happened or they are choosing to ignore stereotypes.

Draco's mood was beginning to get better as the potion wore off however I could tell he was still very annoyed at me seen as he wasn't talking to me or even acknowledging that I existed. it was getting rather annoying but I let it go not wanting to annoy him anymore. Harry, Ron and Hermione were also up to something because when ever they saw either me or Draco they would start whispering frantically to each other. More people were getting worried about whether they would be petrified or not and even some of my friends were worrying even though no Slytherins had actually been petrified. Yet. However Amelia seemed to be in a very good mood and kept saying that everyone had to stay positive even if it seems hard at the minute.
