The secret Malfoy

The train and Hogwarts

I woke up early the next morning barley awake because I hadn't had much sleep due to excitement. I got ready and bounded downstairs. I was also nervous but I didn't know why. I saw that it was 6:30 and didn't expect Draco to be awake but he was standing in the living room. "Morning Draco. Why are you up so early?" I asked. "The same reason as you I presume and so then you can't jump on me as soon as you get up." He chuckled. Seen as we didn't have to be at the platform for another 4 hours I decided to go back to my room and read more about Hogwarts and practice a few more spells that Draco had taught me.

"Eve, Draco come on or else you're going to be late for the train" mother called. as me and Draco hurried downstairs we found our luggage waiting for us at the doorway. I had changed my hair to long bright red just to annoy my father but I only saw mother waiting for us. "where's father?" Draco asked. "I'm sorry you two but he had to leave for work at 7 today." I nodded sadly showing that I understood but I wanted to say goodbye to him when we left because we wouldn't see both our parents until Christmas. We went over to the large fire place I quickly turned my hair back to its normal colour but kept it the same length as we all took some floo powder and took it in turns to yell "platform 9 3/4."

As we stepped out onto the platform there was a scarlet steam train infront of us. I startes to shake with excitement because I didn't have to try and sneak onto the train any more with Draco because I was actually going to Hogwarts. Mother beamed at us and pulled us both into a bone crushing hug. I hugged her back but I could feel Draco stiffen up. "Mother not here." Draco said going a little pink in the face. "Stop it Draco." Mother said sharply releasing us. "Now Eve remember what i said about when you're being sorted?" I nodded my head quickly. She pulled us back into a slightly more gental hug this time and said goodbye as we boarded the train.

Draco lead us off down the long carriages until we found a compartment that was empty. We say for a couple of minutes until a girl stopped outside our door. "Draco who is this." She said in a sickly sweet voice. "This is my sister Pansy and if you do anything to her I will personally hex you." Draco said placing a protective arm around me. That's what I loved about my brother he would protect me no matter what even if it put him in danger.

As it got to around lunch time I was starting to get bored so I told Draco that i was going to go and try to make some new friends which he objected to at first but I said that i would embarrass him otherwise so he finally gave in.

As I wondered down the corridors of the train I started to debate whether to go back to  Draco until I saw a girl in a compartment that looked aroun my age so I knocked on the door. "Please may I come in." I asked. The girl invited me in, she had long blond that was wavy. "What's your name?" The girl asked in a dreamy voice. "Eve" I replied. I didn't want her to know my full name incase she didn't like me. "Nice name I'm Luna Lovegood." She said turning to look out of the window. "What's that?" Luna asked. "It looks like a flying car." I said slightly amused. 

A few minutes later a red head called Ginny just walked into the compartment. "Don't I know you from somewhere?" "Um..." I said. "Wait              Yes your father had a go at my brother and his friend and then you trod on my brothers foot." She said and I could hear the bitterness in her voice. She had got me. She knew who I was. I couldn't help but go red she knew that I was a  Malfoy. "I'm sorry" I whispered. I was actually really sorry I did have a nice side but when I was with father I was supposed to be mean and cold hearted towards certain people. Ginny sat down next to Luna and glared at me for the rest of the train journey as we sat in awkward silence. 

Finally the train came to a stop and I went off to find Draco. I saw him and ran up to him. "Hi sis." He said. "Hi Dra..." I was interrupted by someone calling the first years over so I said bye to Draco and went over to the enormous man and stood with Luna. 

We took the boats across the lake and I thought I saw tentacles through the blackness of the water. I was in a boat with Luna and Ginny. I knew that it would take me awhile to get Ginny's trust if not forever. We could see the glistening lights that were coming out of the castle. As the boats drew nearer to the castle the atmosphere became so tense it was hard to breath. 

As we all climbed out of the boats and up towards the big oak doors I started to get really nervous because I had to be placed into slytherin or else father would kill me or at least disown me.
