Melanie watched the men around her trying to get a feel for what the best few months were going to be like. After everyone was in the limo questions asked by the boys started flying back and forth like a game of tennis.

"So Melanie" Freddie asked "How old are you".

"I'm 24 as of last month" she politely smiled not looking forward to all the questions she would surely have to endure for the best half hour.

"Did you go to University and if so what did you study" Brin asked with a general look of curiosity on his face.

"Oh I attended Juliards in New York City I studied dance" I said, the boys looked up surprised.

"Your a dancer" John asked "Then why are you here with us".

"Well dancing is not the most stable career in the world so you know here I am" I replied a little uneasily. Roger seemed to sense by discomfort and changed the subject.

"Have you done any sports other then dance" he asked looking at me intently.

"Um I used to do a lot of roller derby when I was younger" I replied kinda sheepishly.

"Oh my gosh that's super interesting" Freddie said even though I could not tell if he meant it or not "Quick question do you have a favorite song of ours?"

"Ummm" I start racking my brain for a song that they had done " I'm in Love with my car is pretty good I reply".

Roger looked at me like I had just held the sun in my hands while John, Brian, and Freddie looked extremely disappointed in me.

"I don't know much about you guys so what should I know" I asked all of a sudden feeling like I should know a little bit more about the guys I was going to be spending the next couple of months with.

"Well Roger has some anger issues and is extremely temperamental" Freddie started out,Roger did not seem happy with that answer.

"Your in the room next to him I think so if you here a big crash, just ignore it he has probably thrown another television out the window" John said quietly.

"Yeah like when he wrote I'm in Love With My Car we didn't want to put in on the flip side of one of our other songs so he locked himself in the cupboard until we agreed" Brian laughed looking at the upset look on Rogers face and the horror on mine.

"Ok then ..." Melanie replied as she looked out the window. They sat in silence for the next bit of time.

Brian was reading a book while the other three were sound asleep most likely exhausted from the long journey from England.

Melanie thought about how she got in the position she was in. She had been a waitress for a couple of years while dancing on the side using her college degree. She had found out about her job as Queens handler when she got a call from their manager saying that a friend had recommended her for it. It payed more then she was making currently and was a adventure she had a feeling she would never forget which was certainly true.

Boy Melanie had no idea what she was in for
