He fired for a pellet to come out. Baylee got up and snatched it from him and smacked his face with it then threw it to the ground. She beat him repeatedly and senselessly. The police broke down the door and snatched him away from her before she could kill him. Baylee grabbed a blanket from a medical woman. She went to Millie on the floor. Millie was so soaked in sweat she looked as if she had been in a shower.
"Here Mills." Baylee said and wrapped her up and picked her up. Millie wrapped her arms tight around Baylee and cried because she had missed her so much and she was also in a lot of pain.
"I missed you" Millie sobbed. Baylee kissed her forehead.
"I missed you too Mills. Now lets get you safe." Baylee said.
They went to the hospital and they took care of Millie even though she had cried about nearly everything. Finally once they were done and Baylee cautiously helped Millie shower Baylee got in the hospital bed and they cuddled tight and close.
"I missed you so bad." Millie sniffled.
"Hey we're together ok? Don't cry Mills." Baylee gently rubbed Millie's belly and she burst out in tears.
"Mills?" Baylee said.
"How can you love such a mess how can you even stand looking at me?" Millie sobbed.
"Millie are you kidding? I'll never stop loving you. And seeing you this way, it makes me want to kill that stupid boy and it makes me want to help you and give you everything I've got." Baylee said.
"Baylee for all we know I may have lost your- our baby-" Millie sobbed.
"It wasn't your choice now if that is what this is about I'll get a nurse and we can find out right now." Baylee said.
"Hold me?" Millie sobbed. Baylee sat up and held Millie on her and wrapped her arms around her and rubbed her back.
"You just breathe ok?" Baylee said rubbing Millie's back.
"No because we missed our seven month mark two weeks ago and I haven't had a single contraction." Millie sniffled.
"Well then once you hit eight we'll do something extra special and I'm sure you'll feel them soon enough." Baylee said.
Millie intertwined their fingers and held them on her belly. She looked up teary-eyed at Baylee. Baylee gently kissed her then kissed her forehead.
"Your going to be ok." Baylee said. They fell asleep holding each other until the nurse woke them the next morning to scan Millie's belly.
"Honey just breathe it's alright this wont hurt." the nurse said squirting the gel onto Millie's tight but large belly. Millie was holding Baylee for dear life.
"It hasn't left it's fetus position yet so no contractions yet would be ok and it is very much alive." the nurse said. Millie sighed in relief and put her face in Baylee's neck.
"No still birth for you. Now I want you to be as fragile with yourself as possible. Your not in the best shape right now." the nurse said and left the two to be alone after cleaning off Millie's belly.
"Look at that. Nothing to worry about." Baylee smiled.
"Yeah well my bump feels tight." Millie sighed. Baylee rubbed Millie's lower belly.
"I can tell." Baylee said.
"Can we take a walk around the hospital? Maybe it'll loosen me up." Millie said. Baylee hopped up then helped Millie up who was in a hospital gown.
"Look at that." Baylee grinned and gently brushed her hand on Millie's large belly as Millie stood. Millie blushed.
"Oh hush." Millie said and linked their arms. They walked slowly taking their time for Millie's sake. Millie stopped and groaned then gasped out.
"Mills?" Baylee said worrily.
"Oh... ugh... ok that's a contraction" Millie shut her eyes tight, grunted, and squatted a little. Baylee scooped her up and went to the room. She sat Millie on the bed.
"Are you alright?" Baylee said. Millie smiled at her.
"Yeah. That was sharp but I'm glad I got something." Millie said.
"You scared me." Baylee laughed at her then tapped the tip of her nose. Millie blushed and grinned.
"Hey I like your shirt!" Millie suddenly said.
"The tiny rainbow? Kinda gay huh?" Baylee laughed.
"Hmm no not really." Millie said.
"Well what's more gay then a rainbow?" Baylee said and lifted a brow smiling.
"Hm... you shirtless in my bed." Millie grinned.
"Your bad. But once we get home if your good to go then we'll see." Baylee said smiling and laughing. Millie wrapped her arms around Baylee's neck and kissed her hard.
"You need to rest up." Baylee said and tucked some of Millie's hair back.
"You'll stay?" Millie said.
"Yeah of course." Baylee said. Millie fell asleep holding Baylee tight around the waist. Paige came in.
"How is she?" Paige asked.
"She's been better." Baylee said.
"How about that baby?" Paige came over and sat in a chair by Baylee who was on the bed.
"The babys fine." Baylee said with a small smile.
"Do you think she'll be able to do it? Get it out I mean..." Paige said a little low.
"I don't know yet." Baylee answered honestly.
"I... I don't think it's safe for her to be here..." Paige said.
"Why? What's going on?" Baylee asked.
"Their are fans outside. They know we're here which means everyone knows she's here." Paige said.
"Well... I'm sure she'd feel better at home anyways." Baylee said.
"Then lets move her in the morning." Paige said. Baylee agreed and as night fell they slept.
They moved back in the house the next day and relaxed all day and now it was lunch time and they ate.
"It's really sunny out." Millie observed.
"And?" Paige said.
"We should go swimming." Millie smiled.
"Let's do it!" Paige, Baylee, Millie, and Ava all agreed.
