everything was finally finished. I took a look at my clock and it was almost 6:00 so I texted hanji telling her we were ready.

I soon pulled up into the parking lot outside the place. eren followed ne inside. it was pitch black and both me and eren couldn't see a thing. I went to find the light and the moment I flicked the switch.

the plan worked. eren was completely shocked and overwhelmed by the amount of people who showed up. connie, sasha, bertolt, reiner, annie, petar, erwin etc. all came to wish eren a happy birthday. he couldn't help but smile and laugh with everyone.
as the party drowned on not even one person was caught gulfing down alcohol. I'd made sure to have very little of it because many of us including myself tend to go a little over board. I finally thoufht thos was the time to do it. I walked up to the center of the room and got everyones attention. eren standing close by. "attention everyone attention, I have an announcement to make. now I know that you all know about eren and I and that I with all your help had prepared this nice gathering to celebrate the day both eren was born and the day we met. now without all your love and support, I don't know if I'd be standing before you today r to say proudly that I have found true happiness and the perfect person to share it with. and, now with that said". I walked over to eren and bent down on one knee holding his hand with one hand and grabbing a small box with the other. I opened it revealing a golden ring with the words "forever yours" engraved on it.
"Eren Jaeger, will you marry me?"
