Everyone began to panic and race around the room, some began to cry. It was only when an ear piercing whistle was heard from Mr. Brad that everyone quieted down.
"Everybody listen up!" Mr. Brad yelled to the now small crowd of students.
The room soon became still.
"We are safe here for now. Does everyone have their bags?" He looked around the room to see most everyone nodding.
"I need everyone to see if they have food or anything that could be useful in their bags. If you think you do make a pile of it up here." He pointed to the table in the front of the room.
Quickly people looked through their bags. The table was almost completely bare except for a few granola bars and small pieces of candy.
Keira looked at Mr. Brad, "that's not much... we are going to need to find more food. And soon."
Mr. Brad nodded. Becca counted everything, taking an inventory and decided, "I'm afraid it should only be enough for a few days, and that's if we stretch it thin."
With a loud sigh, they looked back to the nervous group. "Thank you, everyone. We'll eat it sparingly." Keira put everything into her book-bag after emptying it of actual school supplies.
Mr. Brad finally spoke out, "Everyone might as well get comfy. Well, be here for a while."

A few hours passed before people were calm. Some people were sleeping others on their phones. Mr. Brad, Keira, and Becca were in the corner discussing the next course of action.
"I don't know what else we can do, we can't force anyone to go out and find food. And no one will want to after Onnikka and Taylor." Keira said shaking her head.
"I think we should all just rest for now and we'll figure more out tomorrow," Becca suggested.
Mr. Brad and Keira agreed. "Alright. Lights out everyone. Try your best to get some sleep." Keira flipped off the switch and settled into a corner on the floor.
In the pitch black, the room became dark and desolate. The only sound was a slight buzzing noise from the vent fans and quiet whispers. Becca wandered over to the floor next to Keira. They could just barely make out the shapes of each other. Keira rested her head on Becca's shoulder and they began to fall asleep.

Not one person was still awake. It had been three hours since the last person fell asleep. They wouldn't be asleep much longer. There was a loud, hard banging on the door. People woke up screaming. Keira woke up with a jump, disturbing Becca as well. She went over to the door wearily.
As the banging got louder and Keira got closer she could hear screaming.
"What the hell?" She whispered to herself.
The banging continued until a familiar voice began to scream on the other side of the door, "Please! Let me in! It's me! Onnikka! Please!"
