Poem 3: At The Stormy Beach

A/N: I wrote this when I was 9, so it may be a bit iffy. :P Enjoy!

As the waves slap the already sodden rocks

The wind whips my hair in my face

The salty sea can be smelt from miles away

My skin shivers from the bitter iciness

But I don’t care

I take off my shoes and sprint to the sea anyway

The cold water sends goosebumps up my body

Even though I’m freezing

I don’t stop

I go deeper and deeper under the thrashing waves

Until I disappear

(Dedicated to my cousin, even though she probs won't read this!)
