Demon Hunting

With the first rays of the morning sun, Zhao Yunlan woke up from his induced dream. His body, still intertwined with that of his lover, which he look at with great affection. His beautiful face looked calm and peaceful, for which he was glad. His Wei had such a bad time in the last few hours that seen him in such a peaceful bliss, make him smile like a kid.

Many things had happen the night before, but Shen Wei's father journal had truly impact him. Obviously Shen Wei had known of the tower since he was a kid, even if he forgot about it as he grew older, wrote those runes that make his father obsessed with and was guarded by ghosts, probably by those similar to the ones guarding the tower. All that was quite shocking, but what stroke him the most was the fact that Wei knew of him, even if it was in a nightmare.

His father had wrote that the nightmare occurred when he was twelve and at that age, he had experience something odd he had forgot until now. There was a night in which he had a fight with his father and he run off home enraged. He had walked aimlessly to calm himself, but during his mad walking around the neighborhood, he found himself lost, although he had not walked that far. That night some odd mist raised from the ground, narrowing his visibility to only of those things closer to him.

Then he heard some kind of growl, like that of an enraged dog, yet it was scarier and right after a strange kind of animal, a lot more bigger than a common dog, without the typical fur and with unnatural longer fangs that came out on nowhere and growl some more. He got goosebumps just by seen the thing alone and wonder if he had just hit his head somewhere without noticing and was now dreaming, because the thing in front of him was something that could only exit in nightmares.

However, dream or not, the beast, run toward him, so fast that he didn't have time to react. He only had enough time to cover his face with his arm, but then there was a bluish light that blinded him, making him close his eyes and when he opened them again, just a few seconds later, he found himself right in front of the iron gate of his house. He wonder now if that light that saved him was in fact, the very same that shield Wei back in the ice cave and portal him back to his home. If it was, then Shen Wei had probably unconsciously sent his guardians to him, so they could protect him.

Thinking back, it was shortly after that when his father became obsessed with his security. He had told his mother of what happen and he thought she had told his father, but now he was sure that Zhao Xin Chi had been in contact with Shen Wei's father. It was probably because of that his father had hired bodyguards for him. After two weeks of been pissed off by their presence in his life, he had make a deal with him. He wore an ugly talisman pendant in exchange for his freedom, never taking it off, until he was old enough to have his own business and house, by then, his luck was probably too overwhelming for the demon to try something else against him again.

"My Wei... you had always been bonded to me... my beloved... even then you keep me safe..." And when he was about to bow his head to give him a light kiss, Shen Wei opened his eyes and smiled at him.

"Good morning, Yunlan ..." Wei whisper, moving his hand from under the cover to remove a lock of hair from his forehead.

"Good morning Xiao Wei..." He said, just before kissing him, quite gently first, then deepening the kiss, as he held his waist to pull him closer, feeling his warmth against his own. Shen Wei, was pleased to be awake in such pleasurable way, that early in the morning. He let Yunlan keep his mouth captive for as long as he wished, barely containing a moan, so to not wake the others... others... wait! Then, reality sink in and Shen Wei abruptly sat, braking their heated kiss to look around. The rest of the guardians were scattered in sleeping bags around the room, mostly in pairs.
