Chapter 18: Cafe

Yo, good readers, back with another chappie. It has been quite a while since the last one hope you guys are still reading! Lots of stuff happened since I created this story and hopefully I can put out a good story for you guys. Other than that, hope you enjoy!

Hide: "YOU SAID WHAT?!"

As his voice screams , I reel back my head and wince at the loudness of his voice, and look around to see if anyone was staring at us

"Relax, I said I want to marry Touka. I don't know how to explain it, I want to protect her and keep her safe and only keep her to myself." I said cooly.

Hide: "I mean I can understand that, but don't you think it's too early? Doesn't she still go to school?"

I mentally facepalm myself. She's still in school and I don't know how far in college she is. I mentally make a note to ask her when I see her tonight.

"Yeah, but it doesn't hurt to prepare you know?" I said as the waitress comes to us to take our orders.

Waitress: "Could I get anything for you two?"

Hide: "Can I get an Iced Caramel Macchiato?"

"I'll take a coffee" I said as I hand my menu to the waitress. As I hand her the menu, she reaches out to grab it but accidentally brushes her hand against mine. She looks away and takes Hide's menu and scurries away.

Hide: "I think that waitress likes you" He said with a cheesy grin on his face.

I glare at him and say in a cold tone,

"Well to bad, I'm already with someone and I love and appreciate that person a lot"

He shrugs and chuckles a little bit. After talking for a little while we get our drinks and the same waitress hands us our drinks. As she hands me the coffee, I notice a small paper under the cup, I slowly grab the paper and look at it. I shake my head and look up to Hide.

"Here, you take this." I hand the paper to him and look at him.

"Ohhh, what's this?" He unravels the paper and on the note it says,

"Call Me xd! •///•
(xxx)xxx-xxx"

Short chapter today, going to start getting to the groove again so the next one will have more substance and more story but I wanted a relaxed feel to this one! Hope you enjoyed!
