T E A R S B L I N D M E as I turn, running as quickly as my short and stubby legs can carry me, bolting down the eerie forest like an Olympic champion at the start gun; quickening my pace to an all-out sprint. The pounding noise of my bare feet resonating off the barren trees with a clanging echo that matched my heart throbbing inside my chest with the thick grief and fear I felt as I ran. The distance was all that mattered. Escaping and actually, being able to see civilization was the only thing allowing me to completely forget about the ache that screamed for my legs to stop and the cramps that swelled my body over the edge of passing out, but no! the numbness did a good job at making me forget about the pain from the large gash on my plush hip.

'God if you can hear me, what did I do to deserve this' i chanted to myself

The lack of oxygen was starting to catch up to me, I wheezed as my burning lungs gasp for air my legs felt numb and unsteady, painfully sore, my throat was dry, so uncomfortably dry. long blonde-brown hair clings to my form, no different than if I had run through a rain-storm.

'This was fucking horrible'. if anyone dared to have asked me six months ago in the bay of, the summer before I attended high school that I would be running to save my life, I would have pulled out some old gym shorts that didn't fit my weird apple-shaped kid body and started working out as if this was the fucking marathon that could win me ten million dollars but even that statement was too farfetched for me it would have most likely concluded with me flicking you off and walking away with some absurdly snobby hair flip. But this wasn't the case,

It was all his fault if he would have just stayed away, from the first time I caught him snooping outside my house in early July, none of this would have happened, images of the blood on the floor flashed before my eyes and another sob recked my body

"fuck," I whimpered

"This was so fucked" I cried into the inoculant and minoring air.

I looked back making sure nothing was following but who would care the trail of blood from the open wound on my thigh was really 'giving away' this fun-fucking-tastic game of hide-n-seek

"Please, I beg you no!" I screeched my small fist pounding against the headboard trying to loosen the restraints around my docile wrists. I starred up menacingly at the beast who has held me captive for the past four months, he literally was nothing like the novels, he wasn't even remotely cute nor was there any kind of romance between me and it. He was young and dumb-looking he couldn't have been any older than eighteen
