💪Noah's POV💪
I reckon the party will be a huge success. Plus, tonight was the night where we bring out the Annual Pledge Wheel for the year. I hope that this year's pledge will help me get closer to Masyn Tyler. I've liked Masyn since the start of high school. We're seniors now, and I still haven't lost my feelings for her. Why like her for so long, you ask? There's just something about her. She's not like most girls, that's all I'll say.
My phone starts to ring. It's my best mate James.
"Noah bro! The wheel's in my car, stop thinking about Masyn, and get your lazy ass outta the house and help me bring in the wheel!"
"I'll be out there in a sec. Wait, how'd you know I wa-" I get cut off by the beeping sound. Bloody bastard hung up on me. I walk out the house to see James standing beside his car impatiently.
"What took you so long bro?" James asked me.
"You were standing out there for a minute, at most, until I came out!" I exclaimed. He laughed and bro hugged me. This kid is always PMSing.
"C'mon, we have to get this wheel outta the car and into the house. You're lucky the parents are gone for the weekend." James said. I nodded. I just hope my parents won't find out about the party.
We soon got the wheel into the house. I can't wait to find out what pledge we'll be doing this year. But we gotta nominate people to be doing this pledge. I already nominated two people, who happen to be Masyn and Abby. James nominated Josh, Cody and Xander our other three best mates in the group. We just have to choose one more person. And that person will be, none other than the famous Kimberly Dwyers, biggest bitch in the world. Why did we choose her? Well, there needs to be some drama in this competition. Doesn't there?
The clock soon ticks to 7pm. People have already started to arrive, but it's not in full swing mode just yet. After about 20min, the party has begun, which gives me about another 20min until I gather people around and bring out the wheel.
I walk around the house for a bit, talking to people, having a couple drinks, until I saw her. She actually made it to the party! I walk over to her.
"Hey, I didn't think you'd come." I say happily and relieved that she came.
"Well, it's a free country, right?" She laughed.
"Yeah, I guess it is." I laughed.
"Why'd you say that you didn't think I'd come?" She asked.
"Uh Masyn, about that. I have to tell you somethi-" I was cut off again, by the yell of James saying that it's pledge time.
